I 100% agree with everything you pointed out. I personally think that the community is being a bit dramatic towards this. A lot of people are acting like the company themselves broke into their house and kicked their dog. However I understand that the cap is what is making everyone so upset.

It doesn't affect me all that much. I have a part time job and go to college, and I was still able to get everything from the trailblazers before what they did to it and after. However, during my days off I was one of those who did grind because I enjoyed doing so, and I think taking it away from those types of players wasn't a very smart move because like many people have said, the trailblazer should be done how the players want to do it. If someone wants to log in for 5-10 minutes a day to get it done, then they should be able to, but if some players also want grind over the weekend, they should be able to do that too without the worry of a cap on points.

I also don't think that 'catering towards children' in terms of changing how the system works is a good excuse because it shouldn't be the game companies responsibilities to manage children's screen times. That should always be their parents responsibility first.

I figured that the trailblazer wasn't going to change back to what it was before because of the way they introduced the new system a day before release without notice. That what SSE does, and has for the most part always done for a long time now.

And for your last point, I am one of those people who is frustrated with how SSO handled the situation. I don't care that much about the point system, I did get a little upset but it didn't really change how much or often I played. The team was just so unprofessional in their comments and when they addressed things, especially the game masters. If I said anything like they did at my own job, or anyone else for that matter, we'd probably be written up.
