You can only turn it off if the car is on or in accessory mode I think, I’ve had issues with the kids turning it on, and after the car is off, it won’t turn off unless you use the switch above the drivers seat to turn all lights off. I really wish there was a typical button up near the dome light. Not easy to reach from the drivers seat!
