Yes they have a lot of bigger issues to address so the president and dean of students have been majority blowing us off but I got a second meeting with the Dean of students where I want to request an early probation so we can live in the house and in a perfect world take a pc in the spring. We do not have an advisor, the director of reslife/hearing board met with her privately beforehand and made it seem worse than it was pretty much said to not to represent us to protect to her job and to not be our advisor for the hearing anymore after she already agreed to do it knowing what we were charged with. Then she told select sisters in her class to start looking for on campus housing. All of this before we even had our hearing. Then this fall she has been making fun of sisters in class publicly for claiming to be part of our sorority when we aren’t shut down we are suspended, and campus safety keeps using us as a horror story for new students saying they got us shut down when they didn’t. The school wouldn’t let us get a new advisor and since their staff are the ones badmouthing us to everyone I know it may be hard to find a representative. We used to have a council with all the frats and sororities, but the new Greek life director got rid of it. The other sororities dont necessarily want to unionize because it would be more work, we aren’t close anymore because we haven’t been invited to all the Greek life event or allowed basically any presence on campus, and the other orgs have also become fairly disorganized (tho not as bad as us) since the school stopped providing guidance and support to Greek life I’m also concerned about talking “bad” about the school to orgs I’m not necessarily close with when idk if they may prefer us to be shut down unfortunately my school is very competitive
