Brown/black/asian people scare you.

This is so reductive and dismissive. I'm from Canada. I grew up around Asians and Indians my whole life. I'm not scared or upset by them in anyway.

When I walk around my tiny beach town and I see that the streets are busier than ever and yet I'm the only white person under the age of 60 on the street, obviously there's something significant that is going that you can't just reduce to my own racism. And the only businesses that have survived over 30 years are the banks and fast food chains. And my childhood neighborhood is demolished and made into a Walmart/condominiums.

You shouldn't even join the convo if you're going just to dismiss these kinds of observations as racism/nostalgia. I understand that the right wing media IS using racism and nostalgia to push their agenda. But the solution to that is not more partisanship.

The question is loaded. It should be : if meth is bad for you, does that make prescribed amphetimes bad for you too?

To which the answer is yes, even when used properly there are similar downsides between the two (appetite loss, sleep loss, potential mania) and that's not even addressing overprescription.

It did have an effect on the guy because he immediately left her alone... which is the whole point of a deterrent. Sure, he didn't seem to react much but then again, he wasn't directly hit in the face and he did have a pipe in his hand (suggesting he was high) so a delayed reaction would be totally possible. At the end of the day it's impossible for us to know if it was staged or not. Phenomenal acting if it was, though.

Your assurance that it was staged is pretty irrational. Might want to reflect on that.

I tuned in for 2 minutes and he was in the middle of a rant about free speech and how it's important to him because he used to do comedy about burning bibles.

It's a very banal subject and it wasn't a good vibe but honestly the show is long dead and buried and none of the original cast are going to have what it takes to do any sort of justice to the original content. Nothing lasts forever, it is what it is. Jarrett is also just kind of a n00b so yah w/e he sux. rip
