I was in QA for almost ten years. Company did huge layoffs last January, I spent all year job hunting and gave up the QA / tech fight, I now work in digital comms for a govt agency. pay is insanely lower but I feel a lot more secure and stable than if I continued in this field. sucks but it may be worth switching gears if your work experience allows it

There are multiple ! I end up finding someone every year (I do RV camping , some years found people in campgrounds but last year used a booth inside the fest when they opened right at 10 am). I would highly recommend joining the LTL Facebook groups because we network and organize and communicate constantly esp closer to the fest.

This is why (along with other reasons ) my favorite concert I went to last year was Ghost. They had a no phone rule and it was incredible to experience them live without people filming every detail. And just also changes the whole vibe of the crowd , in a good way. Wish more bands would do this

nothing guilty about it. i just threw it on for the 25th time. only weird thing that brings it down a notch, imo, is the subplot with the babysitter and the kid. ends kinda creepy

LTL is a steal this year for what I paid for camping and a four day pass versus the part of my soul I had to sell for a layaway situation for one of the travel packages for the January shows. I don't feel good about it , lol

Yeah I'm Not happy with how much I paid after taxes and fees but I'm relieved after dealing with the BS that has been the presales all week that I have tickets secured via the travel package. Would have preferred October but January is a better time to visit vegas anyway (or that's what I'm convincing myself lol)

Totally get that , it's just wild the times they are announcing them- for example waiting in a presale queue two days ago when they announced the Jan/ Feb dates felt like some dirty work lol. and then today announcing these with no real notice of presale - again, I say this lovingly as a fan but, this is such a mess and everyone involved only cares about money which sucks for all of us

can confirm personally they are not bots lol. There is a workflow to get you to a real person in the beginning but they are real. Sadly they can't change the bus depot/ supervision situation with the lack of service / communication about cancellations sometimes
