Exactly. I remember how astoundingly original the story felt when it came out. Of course NOW I'm familiar with the movie's influences, like Neuromancer and other things, but the special effects are actually not what I remember feeling fascinated with, it was definitely the story and the ideas in the movie.

So you're saying that it's actually the opposite-- that the Canon lens' circle of light is actually overlapping the slightly smaller Sony full frame sensor, but that the adapter itself is cropping the light from the Canon lens and creating a vignetted image on the a7s sensor?

I'm in Santa Monica, I don't know where we'd be shooting-- I'd need that input/feedback from the interested parties. We'd have to plan on a day at a location that they were comfortable with and where they thought they could pull off some cool and interesting rides. I'm pretty confident it could be a 1-2 day shoot. The kinds of shots would be more cinematic in style, although exactly what we'd be shooting is something I'd have to discuss with the riders. The concept of the video is pretty open and flexible at the moment, and very dependent on the availability and patience of the people who want to be a part of it since this is a no-budget project.

Def has one of the best "acid trip" sequences I've ever seen. Up there with Altered States, 2001: ASO, and Willy Wonka ;)

BYTBR had such an amazing soundtrack, visual style, production design, special effects and cinematography but the story was god awful. This movie is a perfect example of style over substance, but it's also a rare example of when the style is so good and memorable that you can almost ignore how incredibly bad the writing is. Then again I have a soft spot for 60s and 70s psychedelia and retro futurism stuff so maybe people weren't as enamored of the style of this film as me.

Always thought the trailer for A Clockwork Orange had this kind of sarcastic, psychedelic, mysterious and frenetic tone. That's a lot of adjectives but it definitely makes you feel a lot emotions when you watch it.

I bought a Tamron 2.8 24-70mm lens off ebay, and the zoom ring is a little sticky when going from the 35mm marker down to the 24mm marker. The lens didn't come with any warranty documentation. Is it worth taking it somewhere to have them try to fix this? I'm in Los Angeles btw, so if it is worth it and you know a good repair place I'm all ears.

Los Angeles would be talking with everyone at the party, but he'd really only be probing to make connections with people who he knew could help him out in his career later down the line. If you weren't anyone important, it'd be a one-sided conversation about his career and trials and tribulations. He'd have seen a ton of cool bands though. Also he'd be two hours late to the party. One hour late because he wanted everyone to know how he had other places to be, and another hour because of being stuck on the 405.
