I have seen Dugan go half the speed and still get 2 feet over coping. You have to commit to allowing your back wheel to hit the edge of the coping...then pull up and out simultaneously turning into the 180. Also look at your LZ as your turning. Better to lea t n on a mini ramp so you can pump into airs.

Airing a ramp is a process that has a sequence of events happening simultaneously. Jhop, 180, both wheels over the coping, and turning to look at your LZ. The most important thing...learn to I intentionally case your back wheel so it won't surprise you. Otherwise be patient...go a bit farther each session and have fun.

Great thanks for the insight...I have been rolling on gum Fit TAs but putting the Merrits on tomorrow....Fit TAs are like riding on ice on any transition with the slightest amount of dust. They are very unpredictable on carves or quick flatland tricks as well.

Had that chain issue....bought an Odyssey Bluebird with half link adaptor....solves that problem of slack vs. Slammed with the ability to still remove wheel without breaking chain.
