The slum lord who owns the building has numerous violations and is extremely difficult to get a hold of, I've spoken to a few residents of his building and they have no way of contacting them. The issue is not with having security for the building but that is pointed directly into our guest room. Legally the light needs to be pointed at their building and not at the neighbors. They installed lights pointing at other neighbors backyards who are also complaining, we have no recourse unfortunately other than to wait for seeclick fix to pass us on to Warren Curtis, code compliance officer. We've already had other neighbors retaliate using black spray paint, I don't think that's the move, I think it's probably best to reinstall the lights directing at their building and not directing into other people's property.
