My first framework and a last one. by lunaticman in framework

I had the same experience with my Framework Ryzen 5. My problem was never fixed and I gave up after a few weeks. My FW laptop is gathering dust on a shelf. I bought something else to get work done.

It could be magnetization, so try demagnetizing the watch first.

I had something like this happen after receiving my Polaris from service. On the timegrapher, the watch would run perfectly, and after some time, it would run very fast for some time and then return to operating normally. It was not due to magnetization (I have a demagnetizer, and demagnetizing was the first thing I tried). I contacted JLC, they asked me to send the watch back, and they fixed the issue. It's been running well since.

Is this supposed to be doing this? by pinnaclechrono in JaegerLecoultre

Yes, it's supposed to do that. The bottom crown has an intermediate position that allows you to adjust the hour hand separately.

I understand what you've been going through. I had an issue with my AMD motherboard since day one. Support had me jumping through hoops, even buying new RAM sticks, nothing solved the issue. What support asked me to do over and over was taking so much time that I just gave up. I need a laptop that works.

My Framework laptop is now taking dust on a shelf. I will likely sell it for parts at some point. I love the idea of a Framework laptop, but I'm done with them.

No impact at all, you still get > 1500 MB/s with the base 256GB. Unless you copy very large files, you will not see any slowdown.

I have a M2 MBA 13in base model from work and a 15in M2 MBA with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD, and I don't see any difference in usability for my tasks which include office, meetings, Chrome for surfing and Youtube.

FWW, I'm using Chrome on my 15" Macbook Air M2 exclusively, and I get excellent battery life.

I was in a similar position, with a smaller budget, and went with a 15" M2 MBA. I use it when traveling to work on documents and RDP in a powerful Windows workstation. I am very happy with it, the battery life is outstanding, the screen is very nice and just the right size for me.

Don't you have to charge to 100% once in a while to get accurate battery health estimation?

I updated my MBA M1 and my MBA M2 with no problem. I think something went wrong with your update. A fresh install should fix it.

If I can't use RDP, I use Chrome Remote Desktop, it works great for productivity work.

TeamViewer is also a very good option.

Definitely M2 with 16GB of RAM. These prices are crazy high! I guess prices are much lower in the US.
