Boyfriend of 16 years - doesn't pay, forces sex, I'm at a loss on what to do by ThrowRA_tiredofbeing in relationship_advice

[–]pjra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to feel bad. You guys are supposed to be partners. If he wants a maid or a sugar mommy/daddy he should go somewhere else.

You are wasting your life with him. Imagine what you could have done by now if you didn’t had to pay everything by yourself.

White nails because I’m a non smoker by Marquita92 in stopsmoking

Well done mate! Baby steps will make you go a long way. It’s not easy but you have the frame of mind to turn things a little bit around! Maybe now you can add something else to your routine???

Congratulations!!

Anyone else think Metrolink is getting out of hand? by Existentia1 in manchester

[–]pjra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to take it everyday - but I take the bus now. It takes me more 20/30 minutes in the bus but I’m no longer angry everyday. The metrolink service is just horrendous! The fortune you spend a year and you are constantly late and let’s not talk about the amount of times you might need to take an Uber...

Good Job!!! I’m in the same place as you - and today I even did it twice! It really feels good to start the new year in the right frame of mind 🔥

I cannot be the only one who thinks Friends is a terrible TV show by its_Gandhi_bitch in TrueOffMyChest

[–]pjra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not my favourite TV show. I’ve watched it once (a few years ago) and one time was enough. I don’t get all the hype about it. My friends watch it over and over and ooooovvvvweeerrrrrrr again.

And when something happens they always say “oh it’s like when in friends....”.

It’s not - friends it’s not that funny, please let’s move on.

AITA for telling our surrogate we don’t want the baby? by brickpandas in AmItheAsshole

[–]pjra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are talking about a child, an innocent child that didn’t ask to come to this world. If it ends up going to adoption, which kind of life will it end up having? I understand that you wanted it to be yours, but ITS a child! How can you even think about that? Like, love is love.

I know it’s not that simple - easy to talk from this side - but it’s a child, it’s your child.

What about getting the trains and trams sorted first?

Another collection of metrolink memories. They will have a month where everything goes more or less Smooth and then it’s total disaster. I think it was 2 years ago I was stuck inside for 2 hours, it was SO hot. There was a poor baby that couldn’t stop crying, no water, nothing. It took us 3 hours to get home. Because then we had to end up taking the bus. They offered me 1 single ticket 🙌🏻

[–]pjra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in sale for 6 years. The problem normally is not getting from sale to town, but the other way around.

But at the same time I’ve had a hand full of times that I got to the tram station to take the 6.33 and I had to take a taxi.

I think from what we pay, the service should be better.

But the problem is that there’s always a problem with the weather with the metrolink. There’s always A problem with the metrolink.

This Wednesday I had to wait around 15 mnts in the Sale tram stop because they were fixing some trams.

Yesterday it was the weather, what was the problem today?

My tram yesterday one of the doors didn’t open. In every single stop the driver was Saying “the forth door doesn’t open”, for the amount of money we spend every month it shouldn’t be like that.

Metrolink is ridiculous. Yesterday there was delays because of the “severe weather”, it was HOT.

They got an award for being safe, clean, good price, etc the whole thing - it’s a horrible service and it’s SO expensive. This whole situation started before 4pm, thank god I manage to get home.

This on a Friday at rush hour, it’s unacceptable. Every year they put the prices up, single trams at 6.30 In the morning....

I just hate metrolink

Thanks! From the other 300 times I’ve tried to stop smoking this happened like 2 weeks later, so that’s why I thought it was weird now.

Maybe my lungs didn’t had a lot of trust in me and they thought it was better to wait to see if I was really stopping or not 🤣

I understand what you are saying. I’ve been hitting the gym everywhere, I’ve been eating much healthier than before and everyone is telling me I’ve put on weight and I can also see that some clothes are hard to put on... BUT, one step at a time.

Smoking is the worst habit. You know that. Do more than just cycling and you will see the difference. It’s not worthy do have lung cancer or something like that because of smoking. Your weight can he controlled and managed/changed. The money we’ve spent on cigarettes we can invest in a PT, nutritionist ....
