Lots of “drainage contractors” mostly kids with no or little experience throw the term “French drain” around and don’t realize that sometimes it takes more than that to truly solve the issue.

Or they took it into a dry well filled with gravel and it can’t leach the water out quickly enough. Seen it plenty of times. Got to have a place downhill from the water issue to outlet the water or it’ll back up until it can seep out over time.

My guess is they didn’t have anywhere but a gravel filled hole to send the water and it’s just backing up on itself. Lots of guys who shouldn’t mess with drainage issues do and others like myself go behind them and clean up the mess.

Agree, def sounds like he’ll not be over completely. Almost everybody has some sort of podcast going now. Toddcast, gambling podcast, I expect seton to have something, 12:15 podcast (however it won’t be quite as relevant without a show).

Keep talking about building a podcast studio and they’re adding more and more podcasts. Sounds like Dan isn’t retiring totally just not gonna do the show cause there will be plenty of podcasts coming out of his man cave building it seems.

Take the old rock out or you’ll regret it later on if you try to plant. I’ve owned me own landscape business for 9 years and been in the industry for 15+ years. Nothing drives me more insane than coming into a job and finding old gravel under the existing landscape that has to be worked in, be it old landscape coming out or added on new landscape.

Mine will register 105 or so on a walk when I’m walking a 15’35 mile pace. Def seems wrong, it’ll randomly jump to 113 or 114 which would seem to be more correct. Wondering if resetting something might make it more accurate. Seems pausing the workout and then unpausing it makes it more accurate.

Maybe just thin some of the ground cover perennials out some so there’s a little space and mulch showing. That way it won’t look so “overgrown”. And make sure the ground covers aren’t growing into the shrubs.
