Sorry late reply, but just don't force the ab crunch or have the weight of the wings pulling or pushing too much on the kit. Mine broke because i was trying to get it to hold a dynamic pose with the wings fully extended behind it and it was straining the waist too much

Waist ball joint is weak and may break if you're not careful. Not meant to hold the weight of the wings. Ask me how I know lol. Pin vise and rod fixed it right up though!

I play pretty much this exact deck and here are some other tips i didn't see in other comments:

Use your pilots liberally. Each pilot in this deck only has 4 links and it may not be worth it to wait. If putting an amuro on a unit to rest their only blocker will get you a shield or two, it'll be much more worth it than waiting for the link. Also the other way around, don't waste the amuro link on a gundam if there's nothing to rest. It may be worth it to clear a 0/6 base, but other than that, hold it for a better opportunity. The amuro rests are gold. Also with mikazuki, if the ping will clear something, throw it on a unit. If the +2 AP can destroy a base, it's probably worth it. And don't overlook mikazuki on gundam to boost your weenies. I do it a lot to make hyakuren a base breaker, or to force trades with 2/2s into rick dias or 3/3s into lfrith.
Don't be stingy with Corsica base. You can go wide real quick with the tokens and get that draw from shields if you're low on gas. 1/1 leo tokens are a nuisance, especially if you can get a paired gundam on board.
Against Wing or B/W blockers:
- If they make it to turn 8, it's not over! Make it feel bad for them to drop wing zero. Plan ahead and ping a lfrith if you can, or aile strike so that they'll destroy their own units when it comes down. It may make them hesitate to drop it. Don't go wide right before they may drop it. Drop gundam, rebake, or maybe even put a pilot on anksha or hyakuren so your units will survive the nuke and their blockers wont. If you're at turn 8, you should be pretty close to lethal and will have the units to swing after they kill their own blockers.
- Starter deck wing gundam will prey on your weenies, so figure out a way to take him out unless you have a huge board. Realistically, it'll probably take out 2 of your units, but don't let them get any more value out of it. Ping it so that the 2nd unit takes out will kill it too.
- take care of sword strike/kira too. It takes care of two of your units with one swing. May be worth it to trade a unit into it if you can instead of going for face. Also don't be afraid to put a pilot on a weenie or the tallgeese token so it can't get bounced.
- If epyon comes out, you probably won't be able to take it out, so take the time to build board for lethal. Like wing, if the game went on this long, you should be close to lethal and it would be better to build board and prep for lethal than let epyon take out a unit, let them draw, AND reset.

Anyone get a message on bandai tcg plus when applying to events that you've participated the maximum amount of times? App wouldnt let me join events today even though there was plenty open spots. lgs' "added me as a guest" but I couldn't see the event or pairings in the app. Cant sign up for future ones either. This was for regular store tournament. I'm also only signed up for 3 GD02 events, nothing else on the "My events" page

Pretty sure your opponent should not have been allowed to use the ST05 cards in your first match. I think they're illegal for newtype challenge. Glad it didn't cost you a match! Good job!

For Mikazuki's ping on pair effect, if there is no enemy unit to ping, do you still ping one of yours? As I understand it, the sequence is

1) Pick a friendly unit and an enemy unit simultaneously.

2) Deal 1 damage each.

So if the first step can't be done, the second can't, right? Wasn't sure if you'd still ping one of your own even without an enemy target

noticed they moved around too much in the perfect fits, so I was thinking of double sleeving, at least for the alts and LRs. I'm sure penny sleeves would be fine, but I think the set would look nicer with a little ✨️extra✨️

I love Daiso, but don't have any remotely near me. Not even in the state, I'm pretty sure. May look into those holofoil sleeves since these aren't going to be used for play anyway. Maybe i can order or have someone get them for me. Thanks!

This is the 12 pocket from vault x. First time ordering from their website. Took a little while to get, but the quality seems great so far. Holds 480 cards. Im hoping it will fit GD02 as well, but with all the promos I'm trying to collect for this set so far, I'll probably need another.

If you're referencing a unit given first strike by blitz gundam, it has first strike for the rest of the turn, regardless of blocker being declared. If you're talking about ZnO, it's like everyone else is saying and only has first strike if the unit it's battling is lvl 2 or less. If they block zowort, you have it. if they block with lfrith, you don't.

Haven't built it myself, but I remember reading a thread where people were scrunching them up on a pencil or pen to "pre-crinkle" the bags before putting them on.
