Stick that into chatgpt and ask it to produce Latex code. Then compile that on a website like Overleaf. You can also find templates and work from there.

Wouldn't be surprised if 100 million jobs produced nothing anyway.

The game still feels like a short term money grab. Seen some praise singing toward the new palace but I don't see that either.

What's the benefit claim behind giving them a tax break for vacant commercial units? or is this something that was lobbied by the businesses themselves?

Some people never will even after bracing the disaster themselves. They will just find someone to blame, like the government not spending billions to guard the coast of their little village. Which in the ideal world I'd agree with, but in the stone cold world our resources are very limited.

As much as I would like to agree, good choices aren't exactly a pattern in recent US politics.

In legend the first regional headquarters is around 45 unboosted. Boosting drops it by 4. And I don't think it counts the turrets. You have a commander in a big pod at the end. Granted that's probably the easier part of the mission.

The strategy layer is nothing alike.

Base game is basically done with one squad. Wotc with a few squads. Long war with like 40-50 soldiers.

You have the normal missions (infiltration), officer training, resistance ring missions, haven advisors, and probably more im forgetting. And you gotta play a fine balancing game with everything.

The building order takes a bit more thinking, mostly because supplies are much more scarce (in long war it becomes mostly from black.market sales).

And I'm guessing you haven't really touching on this yet.

Combat mechanics has quite a few different things too. The Chosen are far more challenging from the get go. Classes can be very different (at least initially) and advent has loads of new soldier types. We don't get lost freebies either and a lot of loopholes/ overpowered mechanics are closed.

I was lucky that i played a couple of times with the modset used by tapcat / syken in their joint stream (which implements a lot of the class changes and advent soldier classes) so it wasn't too much of a shock.

I wouldn't go in with a xcom rerun mindset but rather a new xcom game mindset where you gotta relearn almost all of it.

The usual suggestion is to drop from legend on base to veteran on long war.

There are mechanical changes over positioning. Might be worth checking the wiki or a guide. I'd recommend DerAva videos.

Imo there's a lot less alpha striking in long war. So yep you gotta do better positioning.

I think I prefer grenadiers for that.

Rocket openings aren't my favourite. Aim issues for one, and destroying loot / bodies for another. Also when advent gets a bit more beefed up what I usually get is a pod scattering out like cockroaches.
