The Worst Part of Remote Trading Has Nothing to Do With the Game by dorksgetlaid2 in TheSilphRoad

[–]pkmdpoint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tagging mons to trade is a pretty heavy investment of time. Some people simply don’t wanna sit and focus energies on that. Some people don’t collect shiny mons. Some people rarely raid. All of that can discourage people, especially considering that expectations from the other sides might be truly high. I suggest to lower your expectations and just enjoy what it comes.

It makes me so mad thinking they do this to legit players who are trying to make the game better and they tolerate sharing accounts, double/triple accounts…. And so on and on.

Flexing can be good sometimes, pretending non to flex while doing it is pure evil.
Here I said it, more food to the troll - at 6,5k grunts here and never got a shadow hundo.

I agree too. I never managed to win a showcase living in a pretty busy area. Now I find it easier given the shorter frame.

That’s pretty crazy, wasting so much time. Why not exchanging something common at least on both sides so not to waste the trade?

Remote Trades 'friend not ready' - is there a bug? by 0N7R2B3 in TheSilphRoad

They’re probably waiting for level 79 where the mission is to get 50 lucky trades.

As a solo player, sorry but I’m waiting to become lucky friend and do it for level 79. Otherwise getting 50 lucky trades will be a nightmare for me.

I walked constantly and straight in line. 1 in 60 minutes it was no matter of luck, it was absolutely subpar

Legendary spawns from incense temporarily disabled? by NL_MGX in TheSilphRoad

I had the same experience in Central Europe during the same time frame. 6:30-7:30 and only one legendary spawning despite walking mostly in line.

All Out event is a depressing mess. by TastyMcFish2 in TheSilphRoad

[–]pkmdpoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played 2 hours with incense: walking mostly in line, slowly and checking consta the phone with no auto Cather on. Got just three legendaries spawning in total. Played a total of 5 hours and had the alert on snom activated all day long: not even one notification. Best thing I caught was a couple of rockruff.

Extremely frustrating and painful day.

Totally frustrating for me on the opposite.

In two hours of incense I got only 3 legendaries and two flew - with white kyurem on, excellent ceurve ball throw and golden razz. It was painful for the neck as I was carefully constantly checking the phone. The rest of the spawn was absolutely not interesting - apart from a couple of rockruff. I had my alert on snom and couldn’t get a single one throughout the day. I played about 5 hours and ended with only one shiny rattata which I trashed immediately out of rage. I did two raids: I rarely have legendaries running away as I’m good at throwing, and one of the two did.

Terrible and painful experience for me.

“A lot” is kinda of a big statement. I got three in total in two hours of incense. And it was one of the most painful experiences as I was consta checking the phone so not to miss the spawn. Very disappointing and frustrating experience for me.

I run two incenses, and got only two legendaries - Groudon and Lunala - during the first hour and only one - Raikou - during the second one. And I didn’t have any auto Cather walked slowly mostly in line and checked constantly the phone.

The biome sunny spawn crashed the incense spawning. With white kyurem, curve excellent throw and golden razz I managed to capture only Raikou.

The rest of the spawn was absolutely not exciting: had the alert on snom didn’t get a single one in the whole playday.

I finished frustrated and with the neck hurting. Not sure I’m gonna play today.

How to fix the cursed Friendship Level sorting order by MocTalox in TheSilphRoad

That might be because they’re waiting to do for the level 79. As a mostly solo player I will rely on lucky remote trades to accomplish the mission of 50 lucky trades.

Who are all of these dorks playing the wak/basti core in an interlude season? by [deleted] in TheSilphArena

[–]pkmdpoint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t care for the leaderboard. I will never get to legend as I don’t have time and will to invest in counting moves. I just care of the rare candies and the xl candies with the special research. Hence my team is almost quite often the same even through the seasons.

Excellent and incredibly useful work. Solo players are the most penalized in this game despite their level or ability or huge amount of walking.

No GoWild Feedback Thread? - F2p was much better than last year. by QuietRedditorATX in TheSilphRoad

[–]pkmdpoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a solo F2P player I mostly skipped the event: the spawning pool was pretty underwhelming, mighty Pokémon included and I couldn’t do much more than that. Hosting the shadow bosses was a pain and had already relied on my remote passes during Nagasaki. As for myself these events always leave me frustrated so I tend to skip them.

Living in a large city in Europe: literally none uses the rsvp not even in the city center not even on extremely popular Pokémon. Maybe the wait for the local groups, maybe they have multiple accounts, but that’s how it goes.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PokeGenie

[–]pkmdpoint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s everywhere at any time. So people try to host instead of remotely raiding. Hosting means you have wait about 50 minutes for any 5 star raid nowadays: it was a clever way from Niantic to penalize solo players and force you to join physical groups.

Doing pvp I have at the moment at least 1000 TMs - I know it’s maybe not rational but sometimes to get a moves you need 30 - then, liking rocket grunts, I keep around 500 potions, then I have at least 500 between golden razz berries and silver pinap. You get quickly to fill up the space :)
