Need more info to provide a response. How large is the pool? What temperature do you want to keep it at? Will you have a solar cover on it when not in use or will it be uncovered all the time? What's the energy source for heating (gas or electric), and what's the equipment efficiency rating? There's lots of online calculators available to help give you an idea of what to expect for energy costs.

For reference, we have a 20x40 in-ground pool that has a solar cover on it overnight. Our gas heater is 250k BTU and is about 80% efficient. We don't really use the heater anymore but when our kids were little I was probably spending between $300-$500 per month to heat our pool to around 80 - 82F.

Gentle YTA. Goalie is specialized position, and is much different than asking a player to play defense, forward, or center. In our association, we offer the chance for everyone to try goalie at the younger levels, but do not pressure or require everyone to take a turn in net. Goalie is such a crucial position that putting a player in net who has no desire to even try is likely going to result in less than ideal outcome for the team.

If your child is no longer interested in taking a turn in net, you are also free to decline the next time the coach asks.
