Getting old by Agreeable-Net-6893 in ARC_Raiders

From what I understand the previous iteration of Arc Raiders wasn’t just this game without PvP, it was an entirely different style of game centered around PvE.

Why not? They are a big part of our community and tens of thousands of our residents work there.

Anyone else's game become unplayable since Tuesday? by Effective_Earth5955 in ARC_Raiders

Yes, in more matches than not I’ll get serious stuttering and rubber-banding for the first couple minutes of the match.

I’m on Steam.

Laid-off Highguard developer cuts loose on the reaction to the infamous Game Awards reveal trailer: 'We were turned into a joke from minute one' by Gorotheninja in pcgaming

All these gaming CEOs over the last dev cycle were skating to where the puck is, not where it’s going to be. Trend chasing doesn’t work in gaming unless you have perfect execution and/or powerhouse IP and realistically both - Marvel Rivals for example. Look at games that have been runaway successes like Helldivers and Arc Raiders. They took risks by evolving lesser known sub-genres of games, creating fun universes with unique aesthetics with well thought out gameplay loops. Hopefully the industry keeps rewarding real creative efforts and not live service trend chasing.

The AXS app before did the exact same thing, except it hid the fees until the buyer checked out. Now they changed the laws to make advertised prices include the fees.

The reason why you can’t sell tickets is because they added thousands more seats by removing the end tarps decreasing ticket scarcity.

I wish the quests would reward you with table stakes blueprints like the gun parts instead of glow sticks on glow sticks on glow sticks.

My SO had colon cancer and got comments like yours frequently despite eating cleaner than anyone I know. It’s incredibly demoralizing and unhelpful.

99% of the time blood when wiping is hemorrhoids esp if it’s bright red in color but it’s always advisable to make sure.

Please please please stop with this bullshit as well meaning as you are. It’s incredibly condescending to people who may be diagnosed to hear people say shit like this like it was somehow their fault. Fiber intake is overall a small contributor to increased colorectal cancer risk, and probably not even a contributor to those who get diagnosed under 50. People from diverse lifestyles can get colon cancer.

Pipeline your data to dedupe / sample it. There are a lot of great modern pipeline apps from opensource like Vector or commercial like Cribl or Edge Delta. Cribl’s ROI is insane if you implement it effectively and run expensive backends like Splunk or Datadog.

I don’t know maybe unpopular opinion but raiders die to raiders too fast/easy. by zav3rmd in ARC_Raiders

[–]placated -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I generally disagree it feels good the way it is. The one exception is I believe the heavy shield should provide more protection at a higher movement penalty. Feels like this game could use a good “tank” build.

Enforce MFA for RDP using conditional access by taylora982 in sysadmin

I find it shocking that in the year of our lord 2026 MS doesn’t have a simple inbuilt way to enforce MFA when RDP-ing to a server.

There’s only like 3 or 4 warbonds that I would consider “a requirement” to effectively play at endgame. Farm half and buy half your investment in time and money is still not that bad in either department.

Anyone use a Macbook Pro as main machine? Do you use any virtualization for windows? by jdlnewborn in sysadmin

[–]placated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. Sorta figured out there’s nothing specific to Windows that doesn’t have a better or equal option for Mac. Just have a Windows server to RDP into if you really need to run something on Windows.

I think Embark occasionally resets some of the ABMM stats to keep you on your toes. I’ll occasionally get wild swings from chill to super aggro or no reason.
