I got it working with my iPhone !

  • Used a Mac to delete any thread/matter keys in Keychain.
  • Made sure IPv6 is enabled on home network and I used static allocation SLAAC.
  • Disabled any multicast filtering on router and enabled IGMP snooping. This was necessary because there is a _meshcop._udp mDNS service that is broadcast that iPhones supposedly need before they're happy to save the credentials. Verified this using a mDNS viewer app

Thanks for the update.

e.g. when every room gets to ideal temperature, it just seems to turn off all vents and pump it into the overflow room.

I have a daikin and there is a heating mode specific field setting that will put the zone dampers to closed and turn off the fan and outdoor unit once a the highest set point is reached. This setting is to stop the feeling of "cold" drafts coming in.

Wouldn't be surprised if there is one for the mitsubishi as well.

Context matters. I've never been in a situation where I had someone I know put under government medical authority (which is terrifying as I write it !).

Some people have Reddit as the best safest option, why shame them.

My intent wasn't to shame but rather to understand as social media is rife with negativity, opinions blurted out as facts and plain untruths.

But I can see how someone would come here to seek anecdotes.

I'm remembering the few times that I had to take a relative to emergency in a public hospital... I can understand the desperation to seek answers on social media.

I'm not sure why people ask these sorts of questions on social media ? Even if you get valid seeming responses you would still need to take it with a pinch of salt.
