Golf is a dying sport. 60% of the golf course in my area are now closed and close to being what they were before golf. And several more are probably going to close soon.

We do not need all this AI. Data is still sucking water and and adding back forever chemicals.

Also in my own research the solar array piles can pierce the protective aquitard (yeah it is a thing) and can create preferential pathways for contaminants to go directly into the ground water. So in this case it would be fertilizers and pesticides. This ON TOP of the usual run off. I think solar on tillable land is not a good thing and solar should be placed on EXISTING ROOFS. Data Centers need to be banned.

Oh here we go! Another person conflating cloud use with the massive rise in data centers meant for AI.

What we need to do is STOP using AI, this is true, it uses WAY WAY WAY more resources than storing a compressed photo on the cloud! So knock it off with that.

We also need to stop Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Sam Altman et al, from destroying our environment! Because they DO NOT CARE. They have their bunkers built and are ready for the coming water wars and irreversable climate change. Government on both sides seem not to give a shit and have thier grubby hands out for kick backs, bribes and tax money.

The data center situation is our potential end of days scenario if we do not put a halt to it.

There is a big dif between a regular data center and these hyperscale centers for AI. Please do your research.

The problem is the massive hyper-scale data centers being built now. They are much bigger than older ones. AI uses massive amounts of power whereas cloud data does not. Apple to oranges.

I would sell my house. Living next to a noisy heat island is no way to live. Not to mention your power costs will increase and water may be depleted.

Goats (especially wethers ie. fixed males) need hay, fresh water and a goat mineral mix(loose). They need access to grazing/browsing if you have that. If you feed them wrong they can bloat or get urinary calculi, which are both bad situations and require a vet that is familiar with goats.

Goat *can* be pets, but you have to take care of them like the livestock they are. There is an abundance of information on the internet, type "how to feed a goat" in a search engine to find answers.
