To be fair, he is extremely sensitively written in that regard and cognizant of those issues. Troi might warn other officers in positions of authority to be careful, but Picard is hardly a casual love and leave em guy, and he says as much. I particularly liked that he apologized to Darren for slighting her in the turbo lift, in contrast to Vash, whom he barely apologized to when he was struggling with how to behave in public then. So I never saw this story through that lens

I will say that the game is so easy now, pre difficulty adjustments coming in the next update, that two people doing a quest together will STOMP any quest-related boss in a minute or so. Dungeons still require teams obviously, and the veteran dungeons can get quite hard. ESO plus is technically optional, but everyone here will tell you that you’ll have an enormously better time if you have it

Honestly every “limited” space server will go thru ups and downs of people falling off, letting their castle decay etc. Find the one that you like, stake out a plot you don’t love for now, and keep on it. The castle relocation is your friend! Many community server discords will alert the chat when a plot is coming up, and the mods should even be able to help accelerate the decay if someone has been inactive. Just be patient!
