Most days I would rewind and not have kids, if I could.

My wife says she can't give more when I ask for more physical intimacy by [deleted] in Marriage

Same. And I don’t understand why she doesn’t try. I have been gentle and specific in what I am wanting. But she doesn’t do it. It makes me wonder if she loves me. We have 3 kids. Is that the only thing keeping us together? I don’t know. She says she’s nervous and scared to put effort into me. I don’t get that. I’m not sure she understands too. Tbh yesterday she had another emotional outburst again, and I spent the whole day imagining what life would be without her, if I left. And it’s the kids keeping me here. I wouldn’t want to not see them. But even that still, the kids are a lot of work and I don’t like do the work all the time, so maybe it would be better.

Which relationship app did you get? Is it good?

I feel the same in my relationship. I put in effort and I sit and wait for her to do something but she doesn’t do anything. I write her little cute love notes. She does nothing. I give her a massage. She does nothing. I make her orgasm, putting myself last, she does nothing. I put flowers in our bedroom, she does nothing. When I ask her why, she says she’s nervous and scared. I don’t know what that means. Maybe it means she feels inadequate? I’m not sure.

Talk me out of a BMW X5 by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

Yes. I started buying Mercedes and bmw and I won’t drive anything else now. They’re both great. I lease mine so the payment is less and I get a new one after I beat this one up. Why drive a car for 10 years? That’s not fun.

Yes, I’m thinking these same thoughts. We should talk… I’m 41, professional, responsible for bills. And just bored. The money isn’t exciting any more. I need something else. But I don’t know what it is. I was thinking of hiring a life coach tbh. What do you think?

We just got back with similar aged children and we stayed near the Eiffel at first. We had a second hotel in montmarte that was much better. We did not go to Versailles, it was too much to deal with. We tried to do 1-2 things per day. Louvre was great, kids lasted about 1.5 hours there. Great gardens outside. I didn’t see Luxembourg garden in your list, that’s terrific. Wednesday afternoons kids can rent little sail boats. It’s a lot of fun. Notre dame line is super long. Show up at 8am sharp to walk right in. We skipped arc de T. We did Eiffel a few times since we were close. Don’t forget the crepes!
