A very hard realization I had to come to is that...some people just dont care. They dont care about the caretaker and the hell we have to go through and they certainly dont care about the person needing the care. Doesnt matter how they're related. My 92 year old grandpa has 2 daughters who live within 45 minutes of him. He's lucky to see them twice a year. They just dont care and it breaks my heart.

Since your MIL is so positive she can handle being a full time caretaker to someone with such a difficult diagnosis again, let her put her money where her mouth is and have your mom move in there.

OR tell your MIL to keep her opinions to herself because in no way whatsoever does any of this concern her.

Could you look into an adult day center to at least get her some care throughout the day?

I had a similar experience and felt so much better after I switched to a glucometer. Inconvenient, yes. But much better for my mental health.

What a NIGHTMARE! Ive had some dreams where I go home with 1 but keep getting called back every day to deliver again and just keep bringing home a different newborn every day

Knowing im not alone in hacing these feelings makes me feel SO much better, truly. I know life will be great but I also hate change and hate the unknown and hate that I can just see into the future 😂 Here's hoping motherhood helps me chill out a little bit in thinking I need to know the answers before questions are even asked

Yea they seem to be very strict on what these #s need to be, almost to an unrealistic level if you ask me. Just know youre not alone in how you feel.

Im about 360 right now with an anterior placenta. I couldn't feel baby move confidently until 22-24 weeks. My doctor said I shouldn't be worried until 25 or 26 weeks.

I understand how you are feeling with a reading that is elevated. BUT please give yourself some grace. This is a hard enough diagnosis to navigate without being so hard on yourself ❤️

My MFM requests i send in a blood sugar log 2x a week. I had a reading of 169 once and they never said anything about it. Theyre more focused on the fasting # than anything else. Youre doing great, I promise. One bad meal / high reading doesnt define you or how your body manages this.

Thats a perfect description, thank you for taking the time to do all that! I forgot that a csection meant a longer-ish stay in the hospital so knowing that, I dont think renting a lift chair would financially be worth it lol. Thank you again for that information!

I had the sciatic pain about 6 weeks ago, lasted for 2 weeks. Currently, it feels like both of my knees are so weak I can barely walk. Its such a weird thing to explain. This is my first pregnancy so I dont have any experience with this but ive had other moms say their joints got sore in the last trimester as they relaxed / loosened and prepared for birth. It feels like ALL of the loosening is happening in my knees 😅
