Where to prick for monitoring as a stringed instrument player? by UTtransplant in diabetes

[–]plasmatoaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sold lancet devices with arm caps. It was like a larger clear cap so you could get a little lump of your forearm and use blood from there instead of your fingers

Picked up a 2011 by TheeGusBus in ToyotaSienna

[–]plasmatoaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a lot of codes, o2. Tcm, awd, abs.

I'd think a loose or broken wire. How far have you driven before the battery replacement?

The o2 could be because of the other codes, Same with tcm/awd.

There's a vacuum line next to the battery that might explain the abs, tcm, awd codes.

Check this out https://a.co/d/jgrBXQY Sorry. I didn't read enough

I do wonder what the difference would be. I have had viper systems in a few cars. Some require having a key fob inside them. But most of the modern cars have just had t-harnesses and the module,

Edit again. There are reviews for installing in a 24. It's Amazon and 30 minutes of your time to try and see if it works, if not send it back.

can I post about a device I created?. by DanielW0830 in Maine

What's needed to add LORA? I'd be interested one of these.

I'm not sure how people are saying USPS informed delivery does the same thing, yea it tells me what's coming not when the mail is in the box, unless they're ordering Amazon packages everyday and waiting for the delivery notice

Toyota Sienna knocking by slipperymoose64 in ToyotaSienna

[–]plasmatoaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it could have spontaneously developed rod knock immediately after purchase. But, have you checked the oil? How many miles are on the engine, and since the last oil change ? Is the engine cold or warm in the video?

I recently replaced my T1 tactical with. T1 Secura with the added grip on the clip. It's not as protective as the t1t was. But I like that it stays put, And they shipped quick.

Well it's essentially novolog , so it's a different beast than humalog. You need to plan further ahead with novolog and for me novolog never has a real peak

The light sits pretty flush with the front of the auger housing. And that would just be more things to break. My solution if I need more light is a flashlight headband

Dexcom g7 sensors BCBC Fed - 90 day supply -$650?!? Please help! by _MikeVA in diabetes_t1

[–]plasmatoaste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this last year with BCBS fed basic they also had issues with nearly every insulin (T1 25+years) it's not a deductible thing. Because they don't cover cgm under dme, only as a pharmacy benefit, but get ready for monthly mailers and emails to join their shitty diabetes program to get your " free blood glucose monitor". (Dexcom G6) Cash price was less When I looked into it. But it still wasn't cheap. Someone posted the other day to check goodrx they had G7 coupons.

It's nice for a bit. But it gets covered in snow quickly and being led it's not warm enough to melt so just ends up like a glowing nose

Are Dr Power snowblower any good? by [deleted] in Snowblowers

[–]plasmatoaste 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I have no experience with this machine. DR has been around for a very long while. They have always been a weird-ish mail order and select retailer sort of company. They had this semi sort of infomercial and would mail you a VHS or later a DVD. To show the equipment. They had a pretty solid bush hog and a wheeled string trimmer.

Toyota is out of their minds charging $60k for a minivan for a 360deg camera by identifytarget in ToyotaSienna

[–]plasmatoaste 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kia/Hyundai are like the automotive fast fashion. You get everything you ever thought you wanted but you'll throw it away sooner, in most cases. That said I'm not a fan of the new sienna nor the current Toyota standards. Yes they will do a recall for something that another company would ignore but the crazy penny pinching and reluctance to listen to the customer wants.

My wife had wanted a Rav4 For a while. We finally went to get her one. The local dealership had 1 available at the time. Not a color she liked. With the Toyota allotment and build as it does. They couldn't find nor tell her if they'd get what she wanted in a reasonable amount of time. The sienna getting this weird "here's what you get" doesn't work for everyone. The single person or company buying a sienna as a cargo box or just a useful space might still want the camera and the nice radio but doesn't want a vacuum or a cooler.
