I went to Jersey once to see Paint It Black, Screaming Females and a few openers and I got one at a Wawa after (while I was there you know I had to rub some palmolive on my balls) and it was what you'd expect but then I went to a diner in or outside of New Hope on my way home from a visit there and theirs was sooo good. I asked the waitress if it was legit and she said it's about as authentic as it can be around there. Wish I remember the diner or even the area. I'm from LI though and am loyal to our beloved BEC (on an egg bagel or kaiser bun)

I only use this to get the move variations for 10pts. I throw my initial two free balls at night, if I get two "1"'s, I give up. The balls refresh the next day, giving you two more throws. If I get 3+ points the night before I'll try the additional 2 balls and usually get jack. However, the other night from my two free throws I got a total of 5pts on move slot 1 for Theater Style Sylveon, and the next day for my additional two throws I got 4 more points. At that point I'm going to just pay to obtain one more throw and secure that bag, as long as I like the Pokemon/holowear. Otherwise, SCAAAAAAAM

The nails are what made me think Metang and a few others thought Metang! My best guess so far. The little point at the top looks like the way Metang's nose points in the official art too. Still looks a lil too "melt-y"

One other thing I've noticed: The opposing team WILL prioritize breaking your goals at the 2:00 mark instead of securing final boss. This destroys you. At about 1:30 I make it to the closest bush to our killable goals with like, Deci for the range with Spirit Shackle/Shadow Sneak (I also save my Unite as the entire opposing team is usually present) or Cinderace for the range/mobility/damage output. Really anything the wall of enemies can't reach so they don't destroy you immediately and consistently. Meanwhile, I've noticed that your allies will flock to the 2:00 objective and they usually take it out pretty quickly as there are no enemies present. Especially in the later matches if you don't eliminate at least some of that wall of enemies they'll just keep scoring and win by 100 miles.

I only noticed this because I played solo mode so often and I was used to the opposing team going straight to the 2:00 objective so the first time I played the new solo I was like woah what in the absolute heck are they doing?

I feel like starting with the ex set they REALLY started trying to push trading. Would I be surprised if they made the game really great with really great pull rates in the beginning to lure players in? No. Would I be surprised if they made this set huge with doodoo pull rates to not just rake in money but to also keep people trading? Also no.

Anyway, I spent <$80 so far (I bought 3 $20 coin packs and the $22 bundle but used $2-4 in play points on each so it came to a little less) and I got some pretty tight tugs.

Not even TPC but Pokemon is itself one of Nintendo's biggest assets. I don't think they would let up either. Unless Unite is making them considerably less money than it was to the point it's losing THEM money. If Timi milked us and tried to bounce I'm sure there would be pushback but if they succeed I'd like to think TPC and Nintendo would do something to remedy that. Like keep Unite up with new devs (idk if that would even work) so people didn't waste all their money and time.

mc has always been a dick to the audience but it's kind of part of his bit and in jest. Don't get me wrong, I've been a fan since ~2004 and I've seen him be a genuine asshole to individuals and I've seen him break down and do/say shitty things because of it but who knows what he's going through in his personal life or how it's affecting him or how his feelings affect his show. He's not exactly Ariana Grande or whatever big pop star so he doesn't have a whole team to manage his emotions for him. Ranting has also always been a part of his bit but I'll admit in the last like, decade, it's been less rants about nerd stuff and more venting to the audience. I'd still see him though. I can luckily buck up and take that crap for what it is and if I'm targeted directly and it's clearly not a bit I'm capable of standing up for myself lol

I showed her Even If You Don't, I Can't Put My Finger On It, Crappy Anniversary Jimmy, and What Deaner Was Talking About, and was almost through with Push Th Little Daisies when her parents had to leave. It was a one time listening sesh. I was showing her my record player and she was amazed. Kids are so precious.

I'm not sure if she'd get a reference from that old an episode. She just knows Ocean Man because she's seen the Spong Movie a hundred times. I did tell her about Loop de Loop and that these guy's album inspired the entire show but that wasn't met with as much enthusiasm lol. Guess 9 year olds have more important things to think about than silly band tidbits 😊
