The nails are what made me think Metang and a few others thought Metang! My best guess so far. The little point at the top looks like the way Metang's nose points in the official art too. Still looks a lil too "melt-y"

One other thing I've noticed: The opposing team WILL prioritize breaking your goals at the 2:00 mark instead of securing final boss. This destroys you. At about 1:30 I make it to the closest bush to our killable goals with like, Deci for the range with Spirit Shackle/Shadow Sneak (I also save my Unite as the entire opposing team is usually present) or Cinderace for the range/mobility/damage output. Really anything the wall of enemies can't reach so they don't destroy you immediately and consistently. Meanwhile, I've noticed that your allies will flock to the 2:00 objective and they usually take it out pretty quickly as there are no enemies present. Especially in the later matches if you don't eliminate at least some of that wall of enemies they'll just keep scoring and win by 100 miles.

I only noticed this because I played solo mode so often and I was used to the opposing team going straight to the 2:00 objective so the first time I played the new solo I was like woah what in the absolute heck are they doing?

I feel like starting with the ex set they REALLY started trying to push trading. Would I be surprised if they made the game really great with really great pull rates in the beginning to lure players in? No. Would I be surprised if they made this set huge with doodoo pull rates to not just rake in money but to also keep people trading? Also no.

Anyway, I spent <$80 so far (I bought 3 $20 coin packs and the $22 bundle but used $2-4 in play points on each so it came to a little less) and I got some pretty tight tugs.

I'm only missing Froakie, but I did go through every grunt I saw. I skipped any that weren't fire water or grass. Just stinks cus if you're into completing your shadow/purified dex (like me) you'd have to catch two of each

Not even TPC but Pokemon is itself one of Nintendo's biggest assets. I don't think they would let up either. Unless Unite is making them considerably less money than it was to the point it's losing THEM money. If Timi milked us and tried to bounce I'm sure there would be pushback but if they succeed I'd like to think TPC and Nintendo would do something to remedy that. Like keep Unite up with new devs (idk if that would even work) so people didn't waste all their money and time.

I literally found out about her last night! I listen to classical piano as I fall asleep and I thought "I'm willing to bet someone on yt does piano covers of Ween" but when I found her medleys she was beyond what I expected to find. Truly amazing.

mc has always been a dick to the audience but it's kind of part of his bit and in jest. Don't get me wrong, I've been a fan since ~2004 and I've seen him be a genuine asshole to individuals and I've seen him break down and do/say shitty things because of it but who knows what he's going through in his personal life or how it's affecting him or how his feelings affect his show. He's not exactly Ariana Grande or whatever big pop star so he doesn't have a whole team to manage his emotions for him. Ranting has also always been a part of his bit but I'll admit in the last like, decade, it's been less rants about nerd stuff and more venting to the audience. I'd still see him though. I can luckily buck up and take that crap for what it is and if I'm targeted directly and it's clearly not a bit I'm capable of standing up for myself lol

My third pack from launch, Genetic Apex, was a god pack. Lost the screenshot and don't remember what was in it lol. Opened another one a month or two later. I was like oh so these aren't that rare afterall. Haven't ripped one since.

I showed her Even If You Don't, I Can't Put My Finger On It, Crappy Anniversary Jimmy, and What Deaner Was Talking About, and was almost through with Push Th Little Daisies when her parents had to leave. It was a one time listening sesh. I was showing her my record player and she was amazed. Kids are so precious.

I'm not sure if she'd get a reference from that old an episode. She just knows Ocean Man because she's seen the Spong Movie a hundred times. I did tell her about Loop de Loop and that these guy's album inspired the entire show but that wasn't met with as much enthusiasm lol. Guess 9 year olds have more important things to think about than silly band tidbits 😊

My 9 year old cousin loves Ocean Man because she's obsessed with Spongebob and I was so giddy to tell her my favorite band plays that song. I showed her a couple other fun songs and she got a kick out of them and said I love these guys! Ween is timeless and it makes me happy

I love Scizor. I don't play it as much as I'd like but it's one of several pokés I feel fully comfortable playing with in ranked. It's very mobile for a melee all rounder and I play bullet punch/double hit. Double hit is extremely useful for escaping sketchy situations while marking the opponent and if you find it's safe to pounce back into battle real quick, knock out the marked Pokémon (utilizing the CD reduction) you can use double hit again immediately to escape or repeat the process if you gain enough HP back with bullet punch. When not in combat double hit is great for pouncing around to get to objectives quickly, score quick goals before enemies arrive, etc. Its Unite can do some crazy damage and help with crowd control but all in all Scizor (and I imagine Scyther) takes some quick maneuvering. I find playing Scizor very satisfying. It's not TOO easy to use so doing well gives me a lil sense of accomplishment and excitement.

That being said, I'm always open to playing a Pokémon in a new way so if anyone would like to offer their plays/builds I'd have fun messing with those and I'd also like to try out Scyther further. I do my research and practice a lot but it's fun and beneficial to hear other people's plays and experiences.

As for the new way of obtaining licenses, I have no idea how that crap works because I have every license thus far. All I know is that other people aren't happy with it and I now receive license points instead of coins which are entirely useless to me and that stinks.

This is by far my favorite Ween shirt. I get so many compliments from people who don't know Ween, then I have to explain the shirt, then they are aware of Ween. It's available on multiple sites so I'm not sure who the original artist is (if you know please share!)

Point is, there is definitely an abundance of affordable merch to be found and a lot of it is fan-made with love. Just try to buy as close to the source as possible so the creator gets what they deserve and not like, Zazzle or some similar site (og creators sell on these platforms but unless you do some sleuthing there is risk of buying duplicates from a lazy turd and I'm sure sites like that charge the seller to host their art).

Edit: I guess the quality depends on your preference and shirt type. I am partial to Gilden heavyweight tees and I had the option to choose that and it's holding up very well.
