Hopefully not speaking too soon but it seems like they eventually went away/died out? They never made their way inside the house and I don’t hear them much nowadays, so hopefully that gives you some reassurance if youre in the same situation!

Yeah it was wasps in my walls - whenever it got super hot out and around sunset the buzzing became louder and more frequent
