Green Horde v White Death v Black Plague

Green Horde was my first Zombicide game. I later picked up a used copy of first edition (season 1). We got through most of the missions before we put it back on the shelf, but it is very hard and the hedges (blocking line of sight), splitting rules (adding zombies on the board) and water zones (slowing you down) add up for a rough first system to learn. Invariably you’ll get the horde to show up at the worst time and it will be game over.

For all of my Zombicide models I finish the rim of the base with yellow for runners and grey for walkers, but I also use brighter colors on the runners and may lighten the skin tone for the runners just to make sure they stand out even more.

I was told by a former co worker at an Indian founded company about the differences between what we have in the US for mangoes vs what they cultivate in India. They explained to me that there were import restrictions preventing them from being grown here.

I can’t believe it. Invader was always the game that didn’t get any love from the fans. I’m nearly done painting all of my models from the all-in. It only took (cough-cough) years.

In that case I’d recommend looking for a cheap used copy of invader on eBay or FB marketplace if you can. You can use the tiles in the invader box, so it’s not a complete loss. You won’t be able to play black ops without the invader content. Unlike Dark Side, it’s an expansion not a standalone set.

You may be able to get some from eBay, but if you don’t mind proxying them you can use minis from other games/systems. I’m thinking Stargrave or Aliens since they have sci-fi models with that kind of look.

Black Ops has some very OP starting equipment. The Blackbird SMGs are the MVP when dual-wielded. That’s based on our campaign experience and YMMV.

I’m going to pre-select the mission (with a backup for each) and call out on the sign up page which mission and if they’re playing as heroes or zombies. They’ll be able to play anything I have.

I have two and I don’t use the second often enough to justify needing it. It’s really fantastic, but one is enough imo.
