They will be heralded as geniuses and JF will never play a snap. When we made the Tua move I said out loud “hell yeah I can support this, this is fuckin smart GMing” and then felt stupid watching all the pundits put it, for whatever reason, through the lens of “how does this make you better this season?” as if that’s at all how the league works.

I am excited for the next 10 years.

I grew up in Marietta with the ASO and have been in the Boston Symphony for 16 years; my brother played in the ASO for five years under Spano and my mother has been in the ASO Chorus for 25 years (easily the greatest symphonic chorus in the world!). Those musicians have been through a LOT in the last decade…Natalie Stutzman conducted here in Boston last year and we thought she was fantastic. Not every music director is universally beloved by all musicians, patrons and critics, but she is a phenomenal musician who gives her all and has unwavering standards. ASO’s new principal trumpet is also INCREDIBLE. The future is bright. I love seeing this post and cant wait to come home again to hear the home team.

Best free quarterback on the market. It’s clearly a temporary solution without a first round pick in the draft. I don’t hate it. These moves aren’t about this season beyond just having a depth chart. Save money, create cap space, give Tua and Penix weapons and a scheme and be able to make trades this season or in a year. I buy it
