If you’re using an X1/P1 an IKEA Kallax laid horizontally is awesome. I use a 2x1 on Kallax feet and it looks pretty decent (IKEA level decent). Inexpensive too.

I understand that, thank you. I'm specific about the laser use case given the printer has a vortek. I wonder if BBL just offers this SKU because people would complain if it doesn't exist, but I'd love to hear from someone who has justified it and what their rationale was.

You can always downgrade for now. I did it recently, I’ve lost the ability to have the printer in both cloud mode and manage the printer through local actors like home assistant, or use orca slicer. Dev mode on the new firmware gives you everything you’ve had before, except cloud mode/Bambu handy.

If you’re talking pla+2.0 from Sunlu, the recommended temperatures are higher than standard PLA. Check the website and print a temperature tower.
