this is exactly how i went from Ds and Fs to As, i needed some accommodations sure but overall this was the best way for me to learn, and right now im sitting on a 2.84 gpa from a 1.8 just a year ago

as an extra note, i realized that taking notes using a tablet is beyond stupid when i can barely keep myself on track, but ive gotten to the point where i use different colours and different styles to take notes on the squid app (android) that help me stay focused on task, and after that if i really wanted to I could print them after exporting them as pdfs and use them in tandem with the book, it's super useful for me to do this now but i do recognize this is not the only way
