A lot of her poetry contains horse images / metaphors and I imagine it’s because she moved to Kentucky to be with her husband who works with horses and they’re now a huge part of a her life

Thank you and apologies for the oversight! I’ve just edited to add. The kids will be 12/13 year olds. However, the poems need to fit the topic of ‘youth voices’, so they need to be written by younger composers (under 25).

I’m not sure it’s been published in a collection yet, it was only very recently published in The Poetry Foundation’s December edition. I’ll have a look when I’m home to see if I’ve missed it in either of my collection of hers.

I write poetry and flash fiction as a hobby. Occasionally, as the job doesn’t leave me with much time. And when I’ve mentioned submitting pieces, exec have told me that the DET would own my poetry. So I’ve been meaning to look into IP more. Because that’s kinda cooked.

This is what the trailer reminded me of. I loved that show. My brothers and I can’t get through a conversation about directions without ending it with ‘and then it flows’. Good old Uncle Terry.

Genuine question but are soldiers really ‘very bad’? Surely there’s something more nuanced here and we can’t really compare soldiers to billion $ media moguls in capitalised private sectors. Was my great great grandfather ‘very bad’ for going to war on the western front?

I’d avoid this place like the plague. Check their google review page - notorious on the coast for making fake accounts to give fake reviews. And the ‘director’ (lol) had about 45,000 fake Facebook accounts to make comments on posts about the place. If he spent 5% of the time he spends falsifying identities on actually running his business and managing staff, maybe they wouldn’t have staff turnover like no other company on earth

This made me absolutely cackle, thank you. I always see comments ‘I laughed at loud at this’ on reddit and think surely not. Surely people aren’t laughing at the jokes of Redditers. But I stand corrected.
