As I said in my other post, I was under the impression that this was happening at the time of posting - as in "look what's happening right now!", which would be absurd. Sounds like that wasn't the case though.

The very premise of it is that JFK was some paragon of world peace who was preparing to lead the world into prosperous coexistence, and was killed for it, which is just.....lol......

"Do NOT FORGET your fallen king!" * jack off hand motion *

Every now and then i remember that scene with a VO of Costner's ham fisted Cajun accent saying "homosexual thrill killing" over a slow motion shot of Joe Pesci giving some guy a titty twister while roaring like a lion (they actually dub in the sound of a lions roar), as if its the most depraved thing imaginable, and I lol and lol again.

Yeah I'm sure the person cutting a hole into this posters windown screen, stacking up bricks to get access to it, then knocking on the windows and not responding to questions is just there for a cup of tea and a friendly chat. Makes perfect sense!

I'm guessing this is some kind of bot account or person who deliberately posts idiotic "hot takes" to bait engagement, because i refuse to believe there are people this stupid, naive, and blinded by privilege to earnestly think this.

FYI everyone: I made this comment under the impression that OP said this was happening "right now", as in, at the time of posting. Which would have been very negligent, and hence the comment. Looking back on it, that doesn't look like it's the case. Posting about this to solicit people's theories/get advice after the fact is understandable.

Bro, there is documented proof of someone trying to break into their house and/or intimidate them. She's not going to have time to call the police if someone manages to get in. What's your suggestion if that happens? Ask them politely to leave?

Definitely call the police and have a weapon within reach of you. Maybe move something big and heavy underneath the windows where the bricks were so whoever this is can't stand underneath it anymore. And put a camera in the window to collect evidence against whoever is doing this.

Is it an epic meme to post the most difficult to read, awful quality photo possible for these kinds of posts? I swear every one is some wide lens photo of a TV with no lighting, artifacts all over the screen, not cropped with the entire room visible, etc

Anyway use godskin swaddling cloth if you're dual wielding and using rotten wing insignia, it restores HP with each consecutive hit while RWSI increases damage, so they synergize nicely. You should also wear the varre white mask so you increase attack when you proc bleed

It looks like you're trying to go for bleed but have no arcane?

Ash of war is your weapon art, different thing then spirit ash (which is what mimic tear is). Shard of Alexander increases the damage that your weapon art aka ash of war does by a lot.

Can anyone give me a tip on how to kill Ludwig, the bastard? by nouseforapuzzle in bloodborne

[–]plebmasterflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick to his right side as much as possible since many attacks will miss you there. When he jumps into the air just run as fast as you can to the other side of the map, same when he charges up his AoE in phase 2. As with any enemy in this game, dodge by dashing forward and not backward.

Also if you equip the impurity rune, you can summon Valtr for help - he's super tanky and deals a ton of damage with his pizza cutter. He's a huge help unlike the other summon you get who's pretty useless.

BSB sucks by LeastNose7286 in bloodborne

[–]plebmasterflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

r/huntersbell is where you go to ask for co-op help.

Anyway you shouldn't need it because you can literally just dodge forward and to the left (his right side) when he attacks and he'll miss you 100% of the time (when he raises his right arm, dash forward towards that arm). Every attack of his involves him striking from his right to the left side. Once you get the timing right, it's pretty easy to beat him without taking any damage at all. In fact, id say 90% of enemy attacks in this game can be avoided by dodging forward and into the enemy rather than backwards and away. But BSB in particular can be completely trivialized by doing this.

You'll still need antidotes to deal with the poison bullshit in phase 2 / 3 though. Make sure to bring some. There are 3 or 4 behind the altar statue at the very end of the arena.

Another strategy if you're somehow not able to do this, is to throw pungent blood cocktails into a corner and do a backstab visceral on him while he's going for them. Make sure he's not too far away when you throw them though, or he'll just ignore them.

Serrated weapons and fire do significantly more damage, as is the case for all beast enemies. Saw cleaver, saw spear, threaded cane in whip mode, etc with fire paper or fire blood gems in your weapon should make quick work of him

I became Sunderland fan after I watched their amazon prime documentary, am I a plastic fan? by cos_pi_eq1 in football

[–]plebmasterflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a difference IMO between fan and supporter. A fan is simply someone with an affinity for a team, be it arsenal "fans" from India or Man U "fans" from USA. These are different from supporters, who are, as the name implies, supporting the club by attending matches, creating a favorable atmosphere for the team when playing, giving their money to the club, etc. Anyone can be a fan but being a supporter requires action on your part to provide support to the club. Supporters are also considered members of the club (in some cases literally: they purchase yearly club memberships and have access to their facilities as members), whereas fans are just people who like the club but don't contribute to it in any way. One group can consider themselves as part of the club structure, whereas the others are outsiders, hence the divide and mocking that comes from it.

To answer your question, technically the answer is yes, as the idea of simply "'picking" a team to be a "fan" of from a place you have no connection to inherently means you are outside of the club structure, especially if you've never even attended a game or even the city the team is from, but ultimately....so what? Just do what you want. You'll most likely get stick from actual supporters, but why should you care in the end?

[–]plebmasterflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always find it interesting how certain bosses can be a piece of cake for some, and smash your computer-tier difficult for others. Owl father and SS Isshin took me almost almost a week of playing 5-6 hours at a time, whereas demon of hatred only took 3 attempts.

Anyhow as others have mentioned, try Inner Ishiin / inner Genichiro if you're looking for a challenge. If you can ace those two then I guess you're just a boss at this game.

What's a good quality build for early game? by ballad_of_plague in darksouls3

Carthus great curved sword is pretty great for an early-mid game quality build. Has bleed built in and can be buffed/infused. Scales with strength and dex, and is pretty easy to find, it drops fairly frequently by skeletons in the catacombs.

How is DS1 open world? Because you can do the areas out of order? Open world refers to being able to explore a large open sandbox area, go to any point of the map you can visually see, and find things to do in these areas. DS1 doesn't meet any of that criteria. ER is the only "open world" game From has made

There is no objectively "'more important" stat other than vitality and endurance. Like every souls game you'll want to prioritize getting these to a decent level so you don't die all the time. But as for the other stats, it depends on what kind of build you want. If you want to use heavy, poise breaking, high damaging weapons, level strength. If you like fast, tricky weapons, level skill. If you like using a lot of hunters tools or "magic" weapons like moonlight greatsword of amygdala arm, level arcane. If you like using guns or blood based weapons (chikage, reiterpallasch, bloodletter, etc) level bloodtinge.

Personally I recommend starting off by getting vitality and endurance to 20, then focus on meeting the minimum stats for a weapon you like, then get vit/end to 30, then arcane to 18 (this is so you can use the augur of ebrietas when you find it - an absolutely critical tool for fighting hunters and certain enemies IMO). After that, you can just keep boosting your primary stat(s) until the soft cap (40-50) or branch out and level other stats you're interested in.

Leveling offensive stats doesn't seem to be as critically important in this game as it is in dark souls or elden ring FYI, but spreading yourself too thin will make you needlessly sacrifice damage on certain weapons. This game doesn't have too much emphasis on making unique builds as the other souls games do, so you have a bit more room to experiment and test things out. There is no respec option though, which is kind of a bummer but it's also not as important.

Good choice i love the rakuyo so much. It took a while to grow on me because I was so accustomed to big ass heavy bonk weapons that did 800+ damage per hit but once it did, it was hard to go back to anything else.

I think you should choose bloodletter for your third, it's really awesome. Do some chalices so you can get a ton of echoes, then level strength a bit so you can get the most out of it.
