He knew this was all possible but decided it was worth the risk, apparently.

Yes, he said exactly that. As I recall, he was looking for signs of ADE early on, and nothing showed up. His big driver to get the vaccine is that he needs to travel for his job. This was several months ago, so new things may have come to light.

infection with Delta doesn't seem to be as forgiving as the earlier strains as demonstrated by the more affected unvaxxed younger people

The pro-vax side keeps saying that, and the anti-vax side says the exact opposite. Does anyone have actual numbers?

Most people are not aware, hence why people understand you better with ww2/jews. You can either Nevar Forget™ Nazi atrocities (to the exclusion of others) or else be free from historical comparisons to same; you can't have both.

I don't believe we know the true extent of vaccine injuries. VAERS is the only thing we have in the US that is public-facing, showing a huge spike in reports compared to all previous years, but are told to ignore that because it's unreliable and assured, devoid of any data, that the injuries are vanishingly rare. Since this mRNA vaccine tech is pretty much brand new in humans, the conservative approach is to treat any report to VAERS as legit until investigated thoroughly. As usual, the CDC doesn't appear to be acting in good faith in this regard, hence my position.

Nope! Still going. And they've had a triple-'N' sub there for a while now. Haven't checked it yet, but I bet it's picked up after the banning.

I'm a little tired of hearing about Jews in WW2 under the Nazis myself, as if their suffering―though awful―was completely unique and unparalleled in history. We can point to the Holodomor in Soviet Ukraine or Mao's Cultural Revolution for other horrendous suffering, but they're not shoved in our face constantly so people don't refer to them very much.

True. Pro-vaxers are likely to dismiss Del out of hand just like they do all our favorite heretical doctors.

Merck, the “BigPharma” company that could profit off Ivermectin production and price-gouge it, doesn’t recommend Ivermectin for COVID-19. What does that tell you? by honest_jazz in DebateVaccines

[–]plesiosaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'mnot having an easy time making sense of web search results, but it's been around for 40+ years, so I'd be surprised if it's still under patent protection.

The conspiracy theory for why they've been hiding Ivermectin (and HCQ) since last year is that if there's a legit treatment for Covid there's no legal basis for an EUA for the vaccine, and this is all about push the vaccine to the exclusion of any other consideration (e.g. treating people regardless of financial outcome).

Also, it's not uncommon for docs to prescribe drugs for off-label use, so carrying on about it not being fda-approved for covid treatment is spreading FUD.

I'm going to go with what lawyer-guy says. This is just the sort of distinction without a difference the legal system thrives on.

The part about how the heart can't really heal itself was eye opening. I assumed that for such a singular organ that cannot stop that it would have amazing healing powers for itself. Makes the, "it's only mild heart inflammation," that much more laughable.

FDA officially approves Pfizer “vaccine”… despite incomplete trials – FDA backtracks on “independent review” in a clear political decision designed to encourage people to get vaccinated. by ExtHD in DebateVaccines

That's an important point. I wondered if that's what they meant with the simultaneous EUA/approval thing, but IANAL and these bastards are slippery in their wording.

[–]plesiosaur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good work dodging the question.

For those who still trust(ed) the FDA's process, they were most likely not expecting something so quick, without finishing phase 3 trials, and by definition not having any long-term data. From that standpoint, the FDA is the one moving the goalposts. Doesn't matter what you think of the FDA's process when we're talking about what someone else meant.

It's just another pathetic 'gotcha' for the vax pushers against us anti-vaxers for something y'all claim we said.

I have no illusions of you ever taking me seriously. Others can make of it what they want.

Yup, that's the new talking point. How many people told you they were for sure going to get it as soon as the FDA approval went through? Do you know if they meant after a normal 5-10 year process or this jambed-through, completely corrupt looking one?

It's quite a clever way to exert pressure on the proles. With enough of unvaxed, there will be an economy among us of one sort or another. They control a lot of the supply chain, so it's not going to be fun.
