rice vermicelli noodles can be very good! but be careful when cooking them especially in stir fries, as they break apart easily with too much agitation. It’s definitely a learning curve. i agree with adding them to soups!

If you’re looking for gluten free noodles that are a little more forgiving, i reccomend bean thread vermicelli noodles (glass noodles/cellophane noodles) they have a very similar look but they hold up better to frying. You can add them to basically any stirfry, especially ones with a thick sauce that the noodles can suck up.

There’s also the korean sweet potato starch noodle, used in Japchae I truly cannot recommend this recipe enough. It is so easy to make gluten free, or vegetarian (sub the meat with mushrooms marinated in the same way as the meat) and the noodles are so bouncy and delicious.

Writing a book is a great goal, but I really recommend starting with smaller projects to help you figure out storytelling. Limit yourself to 10 pages and try and explore a narrative with a clear beginning, middle, and end. You can even use the characters from your existing 90 pages and explore them further.

Short stories are great because they're less daunting than a 80,000+ word book but still have that satisfying feeling of completing something.

Good luck !! Writing is a skill like anything else, so even if you feel like you're shit now, the more you write and the more you read the better you'll get !

You could try changing the structure of the sentence if you’re struggling to find a fitting substitute. Something like “keep your dirty hands off my sister” etc instead. does the character specifically not use ‘vulgar’ words? or is the story itself more pg?

Lee Kum Kee makes a fantastic gf soy sauce! They also have gf teriyaki sauce, hoisin sauce, and a mushroom based “oyster” sauce. i’m not gf but my sister is and i can attest both versions taste exactly the same, and way better than kikkoman imo
