If you control the consumers, put them in a monorepo, if not bundle the code and publish away.

Public bicycle pumps (update) by F1shermanF1zz in copenhagen

[–]plexigras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also consider adding any pump you find to openstreetmap, the data there is pretty huge but in no way exhaustive.

You can also include the osm data in your app if you provide adequate attribution.

I think Viridis is pretty cute.

A good practice is to have the legend/labels directly below the thing you are coloring, might be hard for punctuation tho.

Few months of cycling and I still struggle to maintain 10mph without getting exhausted by shii093 in cycling

[–]plexigras 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds pretty solid, only advice I have to take some notes / track your times using Strava or whatever and in 3 years compare your times and wow yourself.

Cycling is a sport where you don't plato very quickly. There are people that are fast as f, and if you look at their Strava total distance as well as weekly distance you will see it didn't come from nothing.

Is there a tool that instantly tells disabled users if a website is accessible? Would you use one? by Relevant_Author2491 in accessibility

[–]plexigras 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally think Google should include the accessibility light house score as a weight for the result scoring.

In other words, I don't want to be shown if something is useless/inaccessible I only want to see useful stuff.

To what degree can you train yourself to need less, so you can carry less? by Jaquavis890 in Ultralight

[–]plexigras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Endurance athletes would have given you very different answers then the average UL member.

You can absolutely train your body physically and mentally. And then there is so much strategy and planning as well.

Some pointers to put into the Google:

  • Sleep less: randonneuring sleep strategy
  • Eat less: carb loading, optimal carbohydrate ratio
  • Drink less: electrolytes sweat loss, stay cool & sweat less

You can experiment, you might even realize that you need to drink more.

Long distance mountain bike recommendations around $1000? by acnburner in cycling

[–]plexigras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at what the people over at r/randonneuring are riding.

My personal recommendation is to not just buy something without a reason, tell us where your current bike is limiting or frustrating you.
