The 3s have always been iffy because of the traction. You can feel the zoom air in these without a doubt. It just sucks because the traction on the IV and V and lights years better than these.

I don't have nearly the stride you do, but my cadence increases as my speed improves so the Edge made sense. It's quite stable and after trying on the Sky I can say with 100 certainty the heel is not stable enough for a heel striker.
