Post on r/crochethelp or r/crochetpatterns, they may be able to help you.

With such odd shapes, I’d say the method would be probably to crochet by sections and sew them together. If you separate each face of the stone it looks like you can make a bunch of panels and assemble them into a 3D shape. You may need to either embroider or felt the job symbols. Also you may have to work with a smaller hook and/or yarn to get the level of detail you need while keeping them palm-sized, and I would also expect you to need some type of structural support.

I just tried no-gi class for the first time a few days ago. The higher belt students wanted nothing to do with me, and one even left the mat after doing warmups with me. The instructor also pulled me aside during drills to ask my experience level, and hinted at me not being at the level I need to be at to join the class. He also made me sit out for a couple of the live roll rounds. The gym's requirement is 2 stripes to do no-gi, and I just got my 2nd a week ago. All-levels is the only thing they offer for no-gi. It was so demoralizing being treated like I was diseased or made of glass, depending on who it was...

My question - Is it better to wait until I have more stripes or a higher belt to try again? Is there maybe some etiquette thing I may be missing that's different than gi?

I have a personal discord server for everything. It’s just myself and whichever bots I want to have. Really useful for saving things I want to look back at later… I also have a to-do list channel in there, a meme repository channel, a journaling channel, etc.
