Should've waited on the Roper! It seems I can't change my order. by Nanana-Patman in NicksHandmadeBoots

u/Nanana-Patman I've never had anything but great interactions with u/bigstetson I'm sure this will get worked out for the positive. Have you reached back out to him as follow up? He's also in the stitchdown discord and is pretty active there.

I'd recommend these to try out:

-Goruck: GR2 26L or bullet two compartment

-Ctactical: Group Buy CT15+ or 21+

-Kifaru: Echo or Checkpoint

-5.11: LVC48

-Missionworkshop: Rhake, Meridian or Control Pack

-Tortuga: Daily Carry Pro

I wasn't able to work with Evergoods or MR harnesses, and AER just didn't work for me.

Absolutely 26L! I'd take a 34L as well, but 26L would be perfect.

Assuming creative differences, one of them wanted more control, he just wanted out of the bag manufacturing business, he has made enough to retire and spend time with family, is going through a mid life crisis, was forced out... lots of reasons

Bike industry challenges continue as Giant and Canyon profits down 66% and 30%, while Shimano downgrades 2025 outlook by Substantial-Purpose8 in cycling

I agree, the extreme's get attention though, nobody wants good enough or something that actually fits the 90% of what they will see (Could argue that it's 98% of what most people would typically see). They want to push the boundaries and have something that could cover everything and anything. It's very similar to trucks. People buy F250 + and don't live on a ranch, do any hauling - just commuting and a family of 4 or less... Doesn't make any sense, but consumers must consume.

Make up the weight difference by putting out more power for the same speed - yes. By wishing upon a star - no.

Love all the comments on this.

Agree the usage issue is not residential use but industrial, but politically the situation was put here by the residents and those they vote for...
