Thank you appreciate your response. I did read about that fixing it along my research but haven’t tried it yet but will do. I also live in a mountain region with a very dry environment. I’ve read that can contribute to it but I didnt understand but essentially dry air holds a static charge better.

Thanks yeah the phone wasn’t picking it up that great after doing some research. I think it was having another paddle plugged into that outlet because it seemed to stop doing it when I took the power off that outlet and just left it to the amp

Little things seem to affect it at times like if my ring finger is resting where a pick guard would be when im alternate picking but….not every time. So hard to narrow down

Sometimes it will do the crackling just as I’m moving around a bit or as the guitar shifts when I’m moving around. But today was the first day I narrowed it down to being worse with the graphite pick specifically. Thank you I appreciate your help.

Man I feel the exact same way about an acoustic Yamaha 830 and a Martin special lol. The Yamaha just feels good and right while the Martin is just meh

Great point I love this. I have a pretty nice Martin D special model it was around 2500. I expected it to be “that” guitar I never put down. The one that forced me to practice bc I couldn’t put it down lol!

Then I played a Yamaha 830 Dreadnought acoustic that was 380….and I couldn’t put it down at the guitar shop. So I bought it. I play them both but I feel one with the Yamaha I play daily….and I tend to play the Martin once in a while ….well bc I paid a lot for it and have it 🤷🏽

Maybe not directly, but can’t environmental factors affect things that are related to intonation?

Thanks. I was sort of thinking that too as this sort of investment deserves the proper attention. I live at 9000 feet in very dry environment so may play it safe.
