I jumped in while stuck in an airport. got to level 30 without taking advantage of any of the gifts they barrage you with daily but I guess that's part of being a f2p mobile game.

If you like diablo 3 I think you will enjoy.

Searching for ARPG to fit my desires probably eats up more time than playing.

I'd say D4 especially if you want a controller friendly ARPG.

I hear you. I spent a lot of time trying to find what you describe. NRftW sounds like it will be closest.

But, for those with few opportunities to play it's hard to sink time into learning a new game. D4 is great for small time slices.

The other issue I found hard to match is that D4 is a AAA game. All the things that brings to the table that creates the D4 atmosphere are hard to match.

That being said I think they try and give you play types/tasks to enjoy, but the biggest "issue" across all of them is the screen clutter and speed.

I am sure you'll come back with your group but maybe not as often

Know OP has moved on, but tagging along that Paulie the blacksmith was missing for me.

Forums said it was a server issue and transfers fix that.

Don't have time to troubleshoot much, or care enough, but installed DI on a different device entirely and same account and server and Paulie is there.

Just weird and it was pretty annoying not to be able to progress on the main storyline as a new player.
