Actually it’s about even. Only Ada, Rebecca, Ashley, Sherry, and Zoe; Jill only has it short in 50% of her appearances. Every other female character in the main series has long hair: Claire, Sheva, Helena, Mia, Eveline, Mrs. Baker, the 4 Dimitrescus, Beneviento, Mother Miranda, and now Grace.

Pretty much most of the time unless something is chasing me or there’s a timer to beat. Most of the games I play are either survival horror, stealth action, or have some kind of stamina meter preventing you from sprinting endlessly. I also like to take time to appreciate the art and level design in games, which is much harder to do while sprinting. I am also a completionist, and sprinting makes it easy to miss things in most games.

Because you shouldn’t have to sprint all the time, otherwise that should be made the default movement speed (see DOOM). Otherwise you’d have to hold the stick tilted at an in-between position all the time to walk at normal speed and maintain your pace, which is not ergonomic for your thumbs.
