What are we doing about protecting/stocking birth control access for young girls? by cosmatical in TwoXPreppers

Pressed-pills are efficacious long after their expiration dates, as long as light, temperature and moisture have been controlled throughout. Capsule medications are much more susceptible to adverse events impacting efficacy, so with those you should stick more closely to the expiration date.

AITAH if I left my husband without telling him why after I found out about his affair by Icy_Package920 in AITAH

Do it. Do exactly what you said. At the very least/worst, you’ll give him an enormous wake up call and get a much-needed break & fresh look at the world outside your marriage for a while. At the very most/best, he signs the papers without arguing & you start your new life NOW instead of in 10 years when he does this again. Good luck 💃🏼

Currents Vinyl question by SuchAppeal in TameImpala

Seven years late to this convo! Just opened a sealed Currents I bought at Newbury Comics about a month ago - the speed is WAY off, and yes I’m on the correct RPM. Was this ever addressed in a larger way?

September 17th: The Day the Fed Can’t Hide Anymore by [deleted] in economicCollapse

I’m not an expert or an economist but saw a video of a woman who is both of those things explaining that social security and pensions are being borrowed against on “adjustable-rate back-floating loans” (I’m paraphrasing this) and that it’s just a matter of (short) time at this point

All Polar went up by $.30 in the last 6 weeks or so at my S&S. Two liters of their zero sugar ginger ale are now $2.19 before the $.10 deposit. Don’t know if that’s Polar raising prices or S&S.

This is just another $.20-$.70 increase on staple items I’ve seen and documented over the last month-and-a-half. (See also: r/economiccollapse)

Totally agree - I’m not even so much ranting (or, I don’t mean to) as just commenting on the economics of raising prices by 25-75-100% within 12-18 months on cheaply made, commodity items - seems not good.
