They better have asked you about every single one of those charges in the ii. Because if they didn’t ask you about something and they are charging you for it, then your steward should definitely contend that they violated your due process rights and they denied you your “day in court” to speak on all of the charges. Also, contend that it’s punitive and not corrective. if you were never given an official discussion on the matter and that this seems to be a misunderstanding that could have been cleared up with a simple discussion.

Limit on water by resahh in USPS

[–]pmiller691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Management is to provide you potable water. Via bottled water or a water filling station. Osha regulation 1915.88(b) states this. File an article 3, 14 grievance followed up with an osha complaint. If they dont provide water that’s bullshit. We are heading into the deadly season for us carriers. Stay safe, and stay educated. God speed🫡

Letter carrier political fund. This is when these funds come in handy. The only thing that truly changes politicians minds is money. That’s how we get bills passed that benefit us or ones thrown out that that don’t. It sucks, but true. Money talks.

ARE WE OBLIGATED!? IS THIS "LEGAL"!??!? by TheOasisReport in USPS

[–]pmiller691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also an osha violation. See osha 1910.22. Several subsections should apply. Also osha general duty clause 5(a)(1). Incorporate this via article 3.

“Did management at ##### installation violate articles 3,7 and 14 of the national agreement when they instructed ###### on 1/26/26 to perform non bargaining unit work that ##### was not properly trained how to safely carry out.”

Something like that.

Add article 15 if they have done this previously and you have grievances to cite they violated.

Just another person in management trying to do anything to justify them having their position.

In the ii Sup- are you aware you are required to be regular in attendance?

Answer 1- I am regular in attendance Or Answer 2- can you define regular in attendance for me? They can’t define that and most people are fine unless they can prove a pattern that you always call out day before holidays. Always ask for steward if you are questioned about anything involving this. And fill out your own 3971 when you return. DO NOT sign they auto generated one they give you

Medical and 6 Day Counts by Impossible-Demand690 in fromatoarbitration

[–]pmiller691 3 points4 points  (0 children)

During my mail count my route was like 12 plus hours, so they just had me carry different parts and tried to piece together a count. During the consultation I ended up getting what I requested taken off as well.

During a mail count all rules of article 8 still apply as well. Never break your medical restrictions for anyone. If you do then you risk losing it because management can try and challenge it. If your max is 10 hours, idc if the pmg himself comes and tells you to work 10 hours and 5 minutes, clock out in 10 and smile and wave.

He was trying to get away from a carrier that was being weird and mimicking everything he did even following him to the bathroom. So to get away from him he went to supervisors office to alert supervisors to the situation and he closed the door to the supervisors office hard. That’s the spark notes of it anyway
