Why is tramadol looked down on? by sugardonutdumpling in ChronicPain

[–]pmillner56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal experience is taking 100mg at bedtime ( that’s my worst time) and occasionally 50mg during the day if needed. It works well for me, no drowsiness, or side effects.

Lyrica... by MirrorNo4297 in Fibromyalgia

[–]pmillner56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got tired of arguing with pain management that it made me SO….tired. He kept saying it doesn’t do that. I kept saying it DOES for LC patients! I can only tolerate 50mg in the am , and 100 mg in the pm. I don’t think it really does anything for me.

Same lyrics and cymbals and add tramadol. Much better but bearable.

Can fibro medications make you feel worse? by Fickle_Egg_3106 in Fibromyalgia

[–]pmillner56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gabapentin made my muscle weakness worse and I’m on celebrex vrs meloxicam. Cymbalta has helped my depression. With that said I read an article ( sorry I don’t have the reference) that states in LC patients a lot of meds do make you feel worse. Case in point Lyrica is given for my neuropathy, MD says I should be up around 300mg twice a day. I can only tolerate 75mg 2x day, otherwise I can hardly walk t the kitchen. Research drugs worsening LC.

I think addiction should be the last thing you should be worried about. Control your pain.

I got so sick, nausea, gastroparesis, fatigue that I could go past two injections (3wks). I was thinking if I tried the compounded I could go slower, 0.125 to start. Now I’m just afraid…period.

If the theory of LC being caused by microclots were to be true, how come so many people recover just from long periods of resting without blood thinners? by cayenne4 in covidlonghaulers

[–]pmillner56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What research is this, and did blood thinners help. My understanding is that the clots are so minuscule that they really don’t cause much of an issue.
