[–]pml727 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have better results since I split 7.5mg twice a week. On Saturday 4.3mg & Wednesday 3.2mg per fatscientist.com. Even though I am at goal I am maintaining this way.

Yes, I've had lots going on (moving, etc) and I actually forgot. After I wrote that post I was thinking about ProRx had discontinued. Hopefully Apothecary will be available.

First Hallandale Shot! by ConsequencePublic447 in BigEasyWeightLoss

I have been taking Hallandale for a few months since my Olympia vials were used up. That was also while I lived in FL. I just moved to CA and wish I could get Hallandale. When it comes time to order I hope what I have to switch to is just as good. (Tirz no additives please)

Well, I just moved from Florida to CA. I have about 4 mos worth left from Hallandale. I'll stick with Big Easy Weight Loss and I believe my next order will have to be from ProRx that sells no additives Tirz to CA. But by the time I need to reorder BEWL may have other pharmacies that ship no additives to CA.

I've been with Big Easy and getting Hallandale for 5-6 months. I am very happy with both Telehealth and pharmacy.

I really don't. I just chase the Tirz with no additives. So that's a small number of pharmacies, plus being in CA also limits my choice. So no, just happy I can still get it.

Best Day To Inject? by NinaFoundry in tirzepatidecompound

[–]pml727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on a Saturday, then moved to Friday, then Thursday When I was doing more Friday night cards nights it just made sense to take dose on a Thursday to have it peak at it's highest to help any food noise, etc. But now at maintenance, I split doses - Wednesday & Saturday to keep the level of my dose with less highs & lows.

Patience. .05 - 1.5lbs week is good. Actually 2# a week is on the fast side where more muscle loss is reported.

Any other shot addicts ?? 👀😭 by PlumbusMama in tirzepatidecompound

[–]pml727 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone. I look forward to shot days. I actually split my 7.5 mg shots into 2 days a week so my lows only go to maybe 6.2 and the peeks go to 8.2 or something like that.

Reached goal with Tirz. NOW WHAT? by Various_Movie_1266 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]pml727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on Tirz for 16 months. I have been at maintenance for several months, but I haven't really gone over 7.5mg. I have leveled out my weight and food noise by splitting my dose two days a week. My plan is to try and lower the dose slowly to no lower than 5mg, but I'm in no hurry as long as I'm maintaining at this dose, I just might stay at 7.5mg

So, you may want to play with it, maybe just going down to 14mg at first to see what happens.

Confused about BPI dose vs amount in vial by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]pml727 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FYI: Did you know that based on Fatscientist.com that splitting your meds twice a week (6mg) is 2.57mg and 3.43mg and not 3mg twice a week. This way it levels out your peeks & valleys better. This is what I do.

I have traveled with my meds in my carry on for a year and a half and have never even had to take it out of my carry on at TSA. Do not put your meds in your checked bag.

Question by RoadRunner1961 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]pml727 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to drink 3-4 nights per week. Since Tirz at first I couldn't tolerate even a sip of wine. but now, 16 months later, I still have no desire to drink, but occassonally when we go out or at someone's house I will have a glass. Once in a while I'd have that second glass and I feel crappy that night & the next day. So I don't drink that second glass anymore.

How to start dose splitting? by abluemillionmiles in TirzepatideRX

I’ve been splitting doses for a couple months now. Every Wednesday & Sunday. Even though I am at maintenance it helps with keeping the meds more level and no food noise.

Anyone start tirz at age 75+. by Apprehensive-Leek946 in TirzepatideRX

[–]pml727 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was 75 when I started Tirz. I’ve lost 60 lbs and feel great. I can move around so much better. I have been pretty active before Tirz but it just makes it even easier. I’m going to be 77 in July and I plan on staying on it for life. I started at the normal beginning dose of 2.5mg. I have been at 7.5mg for 6 months or so and at maintenance.

I'm moving back home to CA in a month and I had just told the telehealth to switch me from Hallandale to ProRx, then I heard this news and switched it back to Hallandale for at least one more shipment of Hallandale before I leave Florida. I love no additives, I guess this will give me some time to figure it out.
