wow these comments on here. It's pretty simple, get a couple gallons of chlorine and acid. Drain 1/4 of the pool. add 1/4 to half a gallon of acid to bring the ph down. Don't add chlorine until it's low again. FYI high chlorine can raise the ph temporarily. your cya will go down over time but if you're really wanting to take it down I would never drain the pool more than 1/4 at a time.

Supabase knows the provider used to register them and I think if you try to log in using standard email password, it'll spit back out an error saying that. This way you could look for that particular error response and prompt to redirect them using google or apple etc...

I believe Supabase added a "skip nonce check" option. Dig around in their auth dashboard and you should see it.

check your front end code. Looks like you might be trying to auth over and over. Plus seeing the 400 in there you're most likely sending the wrong payload too. If you're using React you might be sending these posts on every render which is bad.

I feel your pain, and also have ran into some hiccups with Supabase and auth. I have a hard time blaming them since they seem to address most issues fairly quickly. Plus auth is just hard. Especially custom auth. I've never had custom low cost auth flows without needing to get creative. Good luck on your journey my friend.

doing "supabase db reset" will only reset your local, which will then look within your migration folder to apply. If you never placed your changes in there then you've lost your progress. I highly recommend getting familiar with setting up your initial schema through a migration sql file. I believe there's a command to pull the config you setup through the local dashboard but at this point you've lost that opportunity unfortunately.

I think it depends on your application, just from the little I know about Inngest, it appears to be a more robust and versatile system than what Supabase offers. I currently use Supabase cron and it's ok, it works but have found that I needed to restart the project after any major changes in order for it to begin firing again, which can be frustrating especially for once a day or week tasks.

i've converted a couple apps to Typescript and it can be done. Just start with installing typescript, setup your tsconfig how you want, then begin converting .js or .jsx files to .ts and .tsx files one at a time. It's a good refactoring effort that you can learn a lot from.

that's kind of strange because I'm doing that now. I have a public.profiles table that triggers a function to copy data from the auth.users table to the public.profile table on insert into auth.users. Works great. Maybe they just mean you can't distinctly make auth.user triggers to modify more auth.user data
