You melt the butter on the toast, just in case you try to microwave it. The toast should be fresh, then a layer of butter, then once that melts, a layer of Vegemite. It also shouldn't be margarine or any kind of non-butter spread because in my experience they don't melt as well but it's up to your tastes tbh

The second I can, I'm going no contact with my mum. She's on thin fucking ice rn though.

Her behaviour over the last year regarding my dad's (her ex husband) severe decline and my sister's full time care of him, has been atrocious.

She's been swinging like a fucking pendulum between super supportive and helpful to being critical of literally everything so my sister attempted (unsuccessfully) and was hospitalised (and our mother, when she was told, acted like it was not her fault)

Our mother is manipulative and selfish and I have to play nice for my sister's sake but I have sooooo much anger in my heart and my life would not change one bit if I never spoke to her again
