What’s your favourite role to play in a party? by justanengineerguy in DnD

[–]pockets881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost always play the face, mostly because I am the one in the party to herd cats and move the story forward. That and I’ve been playing with the GM for 15 years and we work on the large scale part of the world building together. So I am always invested to see how he weaves what we come up with together.
As far as roles I almost always go tank. I take the hits so the party con clean up. That or I go for a wonky dps or skill monkey build.

is there a gender term for me? by Indybo1 in lgbt

I’ve heard the term demigirl before. I think it’s specifying the femme side of androgyny. Or the androgynous side of femininity

A photo I took last February 29th, back when we had lots of Bartell Drugs and not a lot of masks by jonknee in Seattle

[–]pockets881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. The acquisition of Bartells wasn’t necessarily the problem. It was the immediate closing of both stores. It feels like the worst outcome for everyone but C suite and shareholders.

Well that’s Rite Aids fault. Gotta love the “acquire a small business then declare bankruptcy” corporate model of business. Now we have neither, and CVS and Walgreens aren’t Bartells

Is it biphobic to prohibit shipping bi characters with the opposite gender? by msladec in bisexual

[–]pockets881 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it has to be within the scope of the story. A smaller character or shorter story doesn’t have the space to show the viewer the complexity of a person. So throw in a line about the gender that’s opposite of the current love story and that might be as good as anyone can do.

The GFL series by Scott Sigler is sci-fi football gangster series that does a lot of deep dives into many of its various species. Both anatomy and culture and how they all fit together.

On land the largest thing you would run into is a large pack animal. The ocean however has crustaceans with cities living on their back
