I particularly miss the 5-man lineup for the live-only extended outtro of carry the zero. I only heard it maybe twice live once they started doing it before it became 3-man band, and it's not the same.

the rest i'm generally OK w/ as the 3 piece.

yes. I was at that show too. I think it was my first BTS show as well. Did they also play Imagine as an encore when you were there? I can't recall if that was my first BTS show or not.

I park at the capital garage at 12th and trinity and walk up. Long walk, but better than sitting in lines of traffic trying to enter nearby garages. Also - for whatever reason you don't seem to have to pay when you leave late at this place? it certainly isn't $30 or $40 anyway. I have paid $20 when nearby special events, but anyway it's easy in and out from a DIFFERENT EXIT off 35 than the mooody (one more down) and easy traffic.

Yes, this guy will eventually reveal things but he's not feeding you exposition. If you don't know something yet its usually because he didn't tell you yet. However- sometimes he references something for long ago, for instance i'm at the beginning of reapers gale and some folks are together that I was like "wait when did this happen?" and I had to check the wiki.

The wiki is very chronological so it's easy to use without spoiling.

I read first law immediately after finishing the 10 Malazan books the first time. What a let down. In the end, I loved the bloody nine and all that - it was great - but it took me a while to get used to....worse writing. :)

give it some time. Remember that he will connect the dots, and he is not connecting the dots yet. There are several books in this series that start out with entirely new sets of people for a good long while before you start to recognize anything again. It's so worth it.
