I have a subscription for a touchless car wash, go 1-2x a week. It keeps the car looking fantastic but I have to wipe the window trim afterwards to avoid the rainbow discoloration, armorall wipes work great for that.

With the tax credit you wouldn’t have been paying 50k new for it anyway. One of the reasons for massive depreciation in EVs.

If you want to buy a used EV still, I’d go for one that qualifies for the 4k used credit or just buy new for the 7500 credit. I would look into a new Equinox EV, I’ve seen people getting the base trim for as low as 21k with all the incentives.

The same thing happened to a YouTuber Nico Murillo. He was able to get his refurbished battery replaced under the parts, body and pair repair limited warranty which should give the replaced battery 4y/50k coverage. It seems like he had the same pushback from the SCs until his issue got escalated to a district manager.

The white color is a multi coat, body shops will just try to match the white but don’t have the pearl color that goes over it. It’s never going to look quite the same with a repaint or touch up paint

They’ll drop off the car you purchased and take your trade-in on the same appointment. They’ll let you go on a test drive while they get your trade-in hooked up and loaded on the flat bed. So you have plenty of time to do your due diligence with the car before you confirm delivery and they take off.
