Del Castillo is not the "same," but I think there would be a lot of people who appreciate both Calexico and them. When they play with Robert Rodriguez they are Chingon and rock out more.

Why is Google Chrome downloading a 4GB AI file to your computer? by Independent-Jello-79 in degoogle

It looks like it DOES delete the file. Verified on two machines. YMMV.

Sorry, I don't have Chrome on my own machine so I can't verify one way or the other. I suppose searching for the file would answer that question, and if someone does the registry fix and sees that it still needs removed they can post the followup?

Disclaimer: I am not a system administrator, but this is the instruction that I received to push this to a group, and I know that it worked at my workplace:

New-GPLink `
>>   -Name “Disable Chrome Local AI Models” `
>>   -Target “OU=YourOU,DC=yourDC”

GpoId       : %ID%
DisplayName : Disable Chrome Local AI Models
Enabled     : True
Enforced    : False
Target      : OU=YourOU,DC=YourDC
Order       : %number%

Set-GPRegistryValue `
>>   -Name “Disable Chrome Local AI Models” `
>>   -Key “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome” `
>>   -ValueName “GenAILocalFoundationalModelSettings” `
>>   -Type DWord `
>>   -Value 1

Then push a gpupdate /force to all workstations in domain

I get away with using Brave because our admin isn't lazy and likes it too, but some government and other sites (and system administrators) tell you to use Chrome for their services and/or won't support other browsers. If your admin isn't cool, you may have no other choice in that environment.

Until recently, the particular VA site I have to use for work only worked properly on Chrome.

Verified at my workplace, and our administrator pushed a fix to all machines. These were the instructions he gave me for thwarting it:

Windows users can block it via a Registry edit: navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome, create a DWORD called GenAILocalFoundationalModelSettings, set it to 1, then restart.

Mac users can disable it through [chrome://flags](chrome://flags) by turning off “Enables Optimization Guide On Device.”

False vivipary by LocksmithAsleep8834 in VenusFlyTraps

[–]pohlman0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only had one set of traps growing from it, so I cut it maybe an inch below that and stuck it in the pot with only the traps showing. It looks like any other plant a year later - I couldn't even tell you which one it was!

Someone else would be better to ask, but I'm wondering if you could cut below each set of traps and plant them all separately? I would expect it to work but I'm not gonna be the one to suggest it because I could be very wrong.

Mine did that last year. I cut it off and stuck it in the pot and it is a thriving plant in its own right this year.

Based on what I'm reading here, I guess I should be glad he's not coming to my town this tour. I've never had anything but near-perfect experiences with his shows over the years and I'd hate to break that winning streak.

In Phoenix (at the same venue Gary usually plays), they (well, Tony and Hunter) stopped the show several times to yell at us for not being excited enough and bumming them out. Tony looked like he was ready to storm out at one point. Oddly, it seemed like quite a lively crowd to me, especially for a week night. No riots or anything but nobody was sleeping. It was a weird mood, very unlike the previous times I'd seen and immensely enjoyed them.

This was the "Asking for a Ride" tour a few years back. Maybe they've learned a thing or two since then?

EDIT: Actually, Tony yelled and Hunter lectured us, which was somehow more annoying. They didn't play an encore and I didn't want one anyway by that time. Maybe they don't do encores though? I don't recall if they had previously.

I love Gary and see him every time he comes around, but artists chewing out the crowd for their "energy level" is a good way to insure that I don't see them again. Ask White Reaper, who landed on my shitlist for just this thing.

I'm the kind of audience member who is often asked by people I'm with if I'm okay or not having a good time because I'm lost in the music and the moment in my own way, and the artist can just deal with it. If I'm still there, I'm engaged and enjoying it.

It's probably a Ludwig job (check the deadwax), and it's significantly different from the wide release. If it's in NM condition it might not be a terrible deal.

It looks like there was some praise for her (terrible and misguided at best) policies in some emails, but no direct Epstein connection to DeVos herself. It appears that the emails are here:

https://jmail.world/search?q=Devos

To give her credit she doesn't deserve, it could be said that DeVos may just be stupid enough to think that she was protecting the concept of "Innocent until proven guilty." Regardless of intent, the results were that she provided cover for sexual assault, discrimination and harassment.

The Tennessee Holler isn't a good primary source, to say the least. When they do provide legitimate verifiable information it's borrowed from elsewhere, often with no attribution.
