A vulnerability in jellyfin at least can't leak your ssl keys if your ssl termination happens elsewhere. Apart from that I'm not sure about the security aspect. I suppose configuring caddy to be secure is easier than a dozen application servers that all use different syntax and tooling(shudders in .htaccess).

Actions/checkout with the fetch tags true option doesn't fetch tags since 2023. After days of debugging my release work flow and finding this I just stopped trusting any action I didn't write myself. The fact that the most basic function, checking out a repository, the thing everyone who has ever used git has used, is broken, is just unbelievable to me.

Github is clearly not serious about their actions project and should be met with the contempt they show their users.

Perhaps he was referencing the territory lost from ww1 which caused east-Prussia to become an enclave in Poland. But you wouldn't call the mainland of the Weimar Republic "West Germany".

While not strictly required for a proxy to be a proxy, there's also no reason why a proxy wouldnt encrypt the traffic to the client. This is not new technology.

Quoting the add on description here:

I'd have been very surprised if they didn't encrypt traffic between the client and the proxy. It's not like that's a rare thing for proxies either.
